More than what we expected

What do you like best about the product?
Our small business has gone years without any kind of project management software. We had more shared Google docs and sheets than any one company should have. Once we got the software set up to our liking, we have been off to the races! The monday.com staff was great in helping us perform our setup. Everyone stays logged into the website all day long now and sees what jobs have been assigned to them. We also get an email stating we have a new job. As a designer, I love the animated icons when you complete a task, it even includes confetti. It took us about 1 one week to get everyone on board. After about 2 weeks, everyone was acting like they have been using it for years.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish at the very beginning it stated which program you should be using. I inistally set everything up in Dev when I was supposed to be in the Work Management section. I did a one hour session over the phone though and they straightened us out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With monday.com, we have all of our jobs in one place so the entire company can see where a job is at in the timeline.

Easiest PJ Management OS Around

What do you like best about the product?
1) The low learning curve to use and implement the Operating System and 2) Its' ability to fit virtually any use case imaginable. What cannot be understated is the entire company's willingness to listen and adapt the OS to meet our external customer's needs. They work tirelessly to understand the customer's need and continually offer new solutions. Their overall support and short turn around times are outstanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data backups. Not unlike any OS, you are in their gated world and need to be comitted to a partnership.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Portfolio management and on time delivery for Consumer Packaged Goods globally.

Lightning speed efficiency for running an entire organization ...

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to pivot and make quick changes to our org-wide boards and create substantial improvements. It stays open all day - just like email used to for frequent updates. The customer support has always been helpful - others should learn from the monday.com model of 1st time touch for resolution.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the training for certification weren't behind a paywall. Much like Salesforce, be confident enough to know that the certification has value and folks will get it. Put the training out there for free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy resource allocation so we know that we aren't overworking our team and they can have great work-life balance.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is user friendly and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I purchased the enterprise packet.The support rep. that was schedule to teach my team on how to use Monday. com was BAD! The support agent was late and unprepared. These actions requried for me to create a video for my team to learn how to use Monday.com.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well thought-out process with workflows, milestones, and deliverables.

User-friendly yet powerful tool

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing that I like about Monday is that you have this tab "My work". This one thing filters everything that is not yours and keep you focused on your tasks. Use it on a daily basis. Another great feature is time tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do like that there are formatting options when you're dropping an update on the item. However I need them also when I'm replying in a comment. Would be nice to have them too
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a part of an agency. We use Monday for our day-to-day tasks. Sometimes we can share a dedicated board with the client directly. It makes the communication process between teams easier and faster

Game-Changer for Team Productivity

What do you like best about the product?
Loving monday.com! It's super visual and makes it so easy for our team to see what's happening with all our projects. Customizing boards is a breeze, so we can set things up exactly how we need them. It did take a little bit to get the hang of all the features, but honestly, it's been a game-changer for keeping us organized and working together smoothly. If you're looking for a way to get your team on the same page and boost productivity, you should definitely check it out! 😊
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I don't have any complaints about monday.com. It does everything it's advertised to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizational issues have been reduced significantly and there is also a sense of accountability since the boards are available to be viewed by all team members. It has also helped to create more of a team spirit as we can see what a colleague is doing and help as needed.

What do you like best about the product?
It has been a great tool to organize our projects, add team members, and to communicate action items. I love that I can "undo" immediately.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found everything to be helpful, there have been a few times when automations have been slow or a bit cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a variety of tasks per project/phase. It's a great way to check off to do items and keep track. Also a good way to store documents for easy access per task.

What do you like best about the product?
The level of detail to which you can customise Monday boards and dashboards is one of the best points for me. There are lots of different column types which can be dragged/dropped and customised to create a tailored workflow for whatever type of use your organisation requires. The UX is extremely intuitive and you can make some really great looking boards and dashboards with great ease.
Automations are also a great way of staying on top of tasks.
Customer support from Monday.com is also great - I've made feature proposals in the past and feel these have been heard and considered.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not a lot I don't like about Monday.com to be honest. I've found in the past that some integrations (Jira for example) can be quite limited in terms of what can be passed between the two platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday helps our organisation keep a top-level view down of all different projects and pieces of work that are happening at one time. We can easily see a Gantt view of everything that's either planned or in progress - this helps with ensuring that we're not overloading our teams with too many change projects at any one time.
We also use it for planning business-wide communications - it helps us see when other teams within the business may be planning a communication and helps us avoid clashses.

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy how monday Work Management streamlines communication across departments, reducing the need for emails and consolidating project tracking in one accessible place. The forms function is a standout feature, greatly assisting me in managing requests and collecting data efficiently. The intuitive interface, combined with the platform's ease of customization to meet personal and team needs, makes project management smoother. The ability to prompt additional questions based on form responses enhances data collection. Furthermore, the chat feature tied to task requests enables seamless document sharing and conversation threads, significantly improving workflow and communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find there is a significant learning curve with monday Work Management, particularly when adjusting to a new interface. This was compounded by my ADHD, making it a bit challenging to get used to initially. It personally took me about a month to adapt. Remembering to use Monday instead of the previous systems was also a bit complicated. Another challenge was selecting the right project management format, which wasn't my first choice, but I've adapted over time. Furthermore, managing the transition to exclusively using Monday for communication instead of other channels was initially difficult. I also get somewhat lost in the available add-ons, which can be overwhelming. An integration with Trello or a similar visual task management feature would be beneficial, as Trello's simplicity works better for my ADHD. Lastly, creating private boards for personal use, without team visibility, would also be a desirable feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find the product streamlines interdepartmental communication, consolidates project tracking, and simplifies space rental requests, ensuring efficiency and clarity.
