Perfect Platform for Project Management and Organization
What do you like best about the product?
When our company first began using Monday.com, we were using it at a very basic level, not utilizing it to its full potential. After some internal changes, we decided make Monday our primary database for project management and organization. We use it every day, from the very beginning of the project with concept ideas, to its final completion of being invoiced to the customer. The amount of features to customize Monday to fit our needs seems endless. We use it across all departments (Sales, Project Management, Production, Installation, and Accounting) to help keep the whole team up to date on each project.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is lack of project updates as the project progresses - but that is an internal issue and not a Monday.com issue, as our team gets used to integrating Monday use into their daily tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving our organizational process as a project moves through the order of operations. It also benefits our internal communication so team members can know the status of where a project stands.

ease of use, tutorial videos, flexibilty of setting up boards and collaborating across multiple teams

not enough training offered with complex items such as dashboards, fildters and widgets
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
its easy to track my tasks, their completion and produce reports of accomplishments. Its also easy to collaborate with people on other teams.
More of an information database/status tracker than a collaboration tool. My Work needs improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I like the color coding of statuses and the detailed field options. I like that projects group tasks together so you can see all the deliverables in one place, their owners, and statuses. I appreciate that there's an ability to alert reviewers when a status changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to use the My Work page to gauge what is on my plate (ideally in a calendar view), but not all the information I need gets included on sub-tasks so I have to return to the main project board and search for the project in order to see other subtasks associated with it. Because there are separate subtasks for each individual contributor, the handoff process from one team to another isn't easy. When I finish the copy for an asset, I comment on the task and tag the designer that it's ready for them. But because we share ownership of the task, I have to keep it open and it ends up in my "Overdue" list making it feel like I'm behind on something. I don't always even know when it gets done, so my My Work page is clogged with outstanding/old projects.
Also when I complete a task, it disappears from My Work, so when stakeholders have additional feedback down the line, they end up using another communication channel because the task has been closed. I find the UI a bit overwhelming and hard to navigate with the right scrolling to find more details about a project or a task

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, keeping track of deliverables and their statuses, holding necessary documents, and making it clear who is responsible for what.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform emphasizes collaboration by allowing team members to comment on tasks, share files, and communicate within the platform. It also supports integrations with popular communication tools. Wonderful and powerful tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some users may find Monday.com's interface initially complex, especially when trying to set up customized workflows. The learning curve can vary depending on the level of customization and complexity desired by the team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com provides a centralized platform for teams to communicate, collaborate, and share information. It reduces reliance on scattered communication channels, such as emails and messaging apps, fostering better collaboration and transparency.
Great way to manage tasks
What do you like best about the product?
I utilize this for all my houses we are building. I love how easy it is to set up a job template and utilize it over and over again. It's easy to list all your tasks for your job and follow up with where you are in the process, Leave notes for other team members. The best feature is setting a time line for when I need to get that task completed by and it Keeps me on task.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that when you type something in, if it's by mistake or you click on something and type over by mistake there is no "undo" button. Sometimes I'm moving quickly, and mistakes happen. I may not realize it at first but there is no undo to go back to what was there in the column previously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps my tasks in one place for all my jobs. Allows me to view which tasks I've completed and what I still need to do.

The versatility of it, I can have personal tasks that only I see on there as well as group tasks everyone can see and collaborate on

Some of the integrations don't work as seemlessly as I'd like them to

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that in a single platform I can manage different areas of my company, with the flexibility to adjust them to my team based on their workflows, skills, responsibilities and connect all that on a single Dashbaord.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some automations feels limited to interact with some kind of columns
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The need of use several applications for a different purpose is killing the team productivity, is benefiting me by keeping all together, even the messaging has been improved since then

the ui are so smooth, looks pleasing and better than excel

Good Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is user friendly, interactive and comes with plenty of intergrations for other software used within a company. Whenever I need a question answered Monday.com representatives are always available to help or add new features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can run slow when a lot of data is inputted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to take a comprehensive look at our team members and where they are working, project analysis, and time spending.

What do you like best about the product?
Before choosing monday.com as a project management tool we had a difficult time collaborating between our internal teams and our strategic clients. With the ability to add guests to the account we now have one central place for everyone to share information, create workflow that increase team efficiency, and help to achieve levels of accountability that we couldn't reach before.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside to using monday.com is that it's another platform. There are many integrations available that help with this but ultimately it's another place for people to go. We do wish that there was a instant messanger feature built in to the tool though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As noted in the previous screen the biggest problem we had was a central place for our teams to collaborate with our strategic clients. We're able to add our clients as guest users and have a central location for everything.
