What do you like best about the product?
Integration with Outlook - we are used to email, and it is great to have copies of email threads in both programs. Also, it is quite easy to use, rather intuitive, I did not really require any special training.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not possible to add external team members to the projects. Possibly, this is the version our company purchased, and this function is available, but not in our workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it primarily for transparency purposes between teams in different locations worldwide. That way our global office can see what projects are running by the country teams and visa versa. It helps with reporting, as well as not reinventing the wheel when one country wants to start a new project.

Valuable Tool for companies

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to organize boards and setup automations.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area that weve noticed could use some improvement is when comments are made, they can get lost easily. It would be nice to be able to set them up with a better cronological order.
Better managemet of files/assts in the API section.
They upgraded their API, however it seems they are lacking in getting the Archived information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for our cradle to grave in our product Creation
The product starts as an Idea, then goes to Design, then goes to un-sent POs, POs, & Uploads to Shopify.

What is our primary use case?

This initiation of a systematic approach allowed me to seamlessly track progress and engage in efficient communication with the project lead. This deliberate coordination on monday.com by streamlined processes and heightened productivity ensures that the design projects unfold with precision and creativity.

How has it helped my organization?

monday.com has significantly enhanced our organizational efficiency and collaboration. The platform serves as a centralized hub where design briefs are assigned to me every day. This feature streamlines communication with the project lead, enabling real-time updates and fostering a transparent workflow. The visual nature of monday.com ensures that project timelines and task statuses are easily trackable, contributing to improved project management.

The platform's interactive interface has facilitated seamless communication and reduced the likelihood of misunderstandings, creating a more cohesive work environment. Additionally, the ability to attach files and leave comments directly on tasks has streamlined the exchange of information, making collaboration more efficient.

What is most valuable?

The most valuable features of monday.com for our organization are undoubtedly the dashboards, checklists, calendar functionalities, and file-sharing capabilities. Dashboards serve as a visual command center, offering a comprehensive overview of project progress, deadlines, and key performance indicators. This visual representation enhances decision-making and facilitates a quick understanding of the project landscape.

Checklists play a pivotal role in task management, allowing for a structured approach to project execution. The ability to create, edit, and update checklists within the platform ensures that team members stay organized, tasks are completed in a systematic manner, and project timelines are adhered to.

What needs improvement?

While monday.com has been an invaluable tool for our organization, there are areas where improvements could enhance user experience. Specifically, expanding pulses could be more user-friendly. Currently, users need to click on a small text line to expand pulses, which can be somewhat cumbersome. A more intuitive approach would be to enable users to click on the entire table cell for pulse expansion. This modification would streamline the process, making it more accessible and reducing the risk of oversight.

Additionally, it would be beneficial to consider incorporating features that enhance the platform's customization capabilities in the next release. Providing users with more options to tailor their boards, dashboards, and views would contribute to a more personalized and adaptable user experience. This could include advanced formatting options, customizable templates, or the ability to incorporate additional data visualization tools.

I have been using monday.com for about four to five years

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We previously used Trello, however, have found monday.com to have a greater product offering.

Great tool for work

What do you like best about the product?
I can keep write down as a note and keep tracking.
After I was using Monday for three years, this system is helping my work a lot.
I can make a tile for each content and keep adding pop up.

So far, I don't have any dislike about Monday.

Great for keeping up with project management!

What do you like best about the product?
I use monday.com almost daily to keep up with my projects and tasks to be completed in my role. I like that I can setup a board however I want to, and if I have questions, their resource center and help articles easily explain how to make it work for my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, when you're setting up automation on boards, it can be a lot to go through the different options. That's typically when I go to the chat feature and get guidance for a starting off point!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One issue I used to struggle with was prioritizing what tasks needed to be completed. Now, my manager and other managers have visibility into my workload and how I'm prioritizing requests. It also allows me to keep up with projects that are lower priority and helps to make sure I don't forget about them at a later date when I have more capacity to work on those projects.

monday.com best tool to track your day to day work.

What do you like best about the product?
monday.com is a very helpful tool and very easy to use. Even if you are new you can check their training modules and can be expert user, it's that much user friendly.
You can make your own workspace and make it private and you can make for you team as well and everyone in the team can have access for team workspace. You can easily implement it as per your requirements. The customer support is also fabulous at monday.com. You can integrate it with your excel workbook as well and can import whole excel file. I use it in my daily work to track my tasks and deals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been using since last one year and I don't find anything to dislike about monday.com. They always keep it up to date as per user's and market requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can track my daily tasks, manage my projects, can plan events and track my appointments. monday.com simply makes my work life easy.

Monday Has Almost all the Features you Need

What do you like best about the product?
I like all the filters and settings you can tag each task with. It is very versatile.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like how they don't have one calendar that has all your tasks on it. How am I supposed to know what I need to do today if I have 13 lists. There is a way to create a calendar for lists but it is not ideal and won't have all your tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing projects and daily tasks and categorizing them in a way that is easier to prioritize and get work done.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com's flexibility and visual customization capabilities are what I find most appealing about our team's work processes. Facilitating instantaneous collaboration is the real-time updating function. Our document management is enhanced by having files integrated directly into the platform. The centralization of information provided by the interface with other applications we use, like Google Drive, has also increased our efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main complaint is that the initial setup can take a long time, particularly if you want to customize sophisticated features to meet our unique requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com has made project coordination easier by giving coworkers a comprehensive picture of their particular tasks and due dates. As a result, team response and internal communication have greatly increased.
