Intuitive UI and Seamless Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy and intuitive the user interface of monday Work Management is to work with. Anyone learning it can quickly get the hang of it without any issues, unlike our previous experience with other products, such as Asana, where the interface was confusing. I also appreciated how seamless and fluid the setup was, especially compared to our attempts with Asana. The importing process from our Excel databases was very understandable and easy to set up. I'm also grateful for the switch to monday Work Management, as it was an instant success for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way within monday Work Management to have editable files. You know, you could upload a DOC, and it turns it into a document that can be a working document, where we can have information and procedures and the edit way that's easier than the current format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday Work Management solves disorganization by keeping all information in one place, accessible to the entire team. It allows archiving for future reference and helps us track current projects, do surveys for customers and clients, and collaborate effortlessly.
An Indispensable Tool for Consulting Management
What do you like best about the product?
Monday Work Management has extraordinary features that make it a perfect tool for my consultancy business on management systems. The ability to link boards together has given me an exponential leap in the utility I required from this tool. Furthermore, the recent ability to print Word documents and to present or send them to inspectors or the management of the companies I follow is truly valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Access to the most suitable apps and features to solve certain problems could be improved. I struggle a lot to understand if a complex need can be resolved with some app or trick. It is not very easy initially to set up Monday Work Management for the type of use I require; it takes a lot of attention to understand what types of data need to be entered and how the various tables should be linked together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to manage all activities from a single place, connect information between boards, calculate indicators, and create professional reports, improving the management of documents and tables.
Feature-Rich and User-Friendly, But Notification Setup Needs Improvement

It’s colorful and that makes it easy to handle and there is a lot of features

The notifications are hard to set up and you need to be quick or the page would send the info to another sheet and you need to bring it back every time

What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy use function. I taught myself how to use this program by utilizing the YouTube videos available from monday.com staff members. I enjoy the ability to auto-save, to do reports, and to move a project through a process from start to finish. This work management tool has been invaluable to coordinating events here at the community college. monday.com is especially powerful for an event coordinator because it centralizes planning, communication, timelines, and accountability in one place—reducing manual follow-ups and last minute surprises. I can track each event through clear status stages such as inquiry received, pending approvals, confirmed, setup scheduled, event live post-event follow-up, closed and cancelled events. I am able to assign tasks to facilities, IT, Police, AV, Catering Marketing, etc. Monday.com gives true collaboration and it streamlined our process. The initial setup was pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would want to improve is having a monday.com account manager when problems arise when I am trying to implement new processes.

I find that Monday is a versatile tool for project management and task delineation. My team enjoys it, especially considering that the UI is really right and visually appealing to work at.

What do you like best about the product?
I use monday Work Management to organize tables and keep my to-do list in order, and I love the use of colors in the app. The format of the app is really appealing to me, and the filter feature helps me a lot in organizing the things I need to do. I find the app very easy to use, and it was easy to learn how to use it too. The design and visual aspects are important to me, and monday Work Management definitely excels in these areas. It works so well for me that I can't think of anything that needs improvement.

Despite being visually friendly, it can feel overwhelming at first. There are many views, automations, and settings that take time to master.

A common issue is that managers and teams often struggle to quickly assess progress. The introduction of multiple views—such as Kanban, Timeline, Calendar, Gantt, and Table—addresses this by allowing users to monitor status and progress in a way that best suits their workflow. This leads to faster status checks, clearer visual insights into timelines and potential bottlenecks, and makes it easier to prioritize tasks.
Powerful, Customizable, with a Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the basic idea of monday Work Management; it's simple yet has a lot of potential. I value the integrations available and the extra features you can consolidate with it. This makes monday Work Management a great single point of entry and a source of truth that consolidates various systems without needing multiple subscriptions or software obligations. I also appreciate its customization to fit our specific business needs and the constant updates that keep it aligned with our needs. The addition of AI embedded in it also shows promising potential.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an option to pay per seat because we're in between tiers with the number of seats we need. Unfortunately, it's a major cost increase for us to move to the next tier, just for the single seat that we need over our current tier. It's not inexpensive, and the upfront payment is a bit challenging to cover for the year outright. Also, some of the integrations are provided by third parties and can be quite expensive, adding to the overall cost. Additionally, while it ultimately pays off, the initial setup requires an enormous amount of front-end work and there's quite a learning curve.
