Intuitive Interface but Lags on Docs with Long Content
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate monday Work Management for its intuitive interface, which makes it easy to navigate and manage both individual and team-related tasks. I find the task tracking and project update features very helpful, especially for keeping tabs on projects I’m personally involved in. As a team, we benefit greatly from its ability to support collaborative work, allowing us to keep meeting notes and project details in a centralized location, which is particularly beneficial given our slightly larger team size. I also take advantage of the pre-built templates for project work, which aids in quickly setting up new events with a rinse-and-repeat process. Moreover, the platform's interface allows me to manage subtasks effectively, creating detailed updates and descriptions for tasks that often resemble projects in scope. This flexibility and user-friendly design contribute significantly to its appeal.
What do you dislike about the product?
I encounter an odd and unexplained issue with monday Work Management when using it for taking extensive team notes over a long period, such as a year. The platform begins to lag on individual pages when there's a lot of content, which can hinder productivity. To manage this, I find myself having to create new notes documents, which isn't ideal as it necessitates referencing multiple versions of notes. This lag in the document interface diminishes the efficiency that is otherwise expected from the platform.

I use monday Work Management for task tracking and project updates, helping my team with collaborative work and centralizing meeting notes to improve coordination and efficiency.

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely appreciate the Monday updates that are automatically generated and sent to my email. This feature provides me with real-time updates on project progress without the need to log into the system, making my workflow much more efficient and faster. The email notifications streamline the process of staying informed about ongoing projects. Additionally, I really enjoy the vibrant color-coding options available in the software, as they make it visually appealing and help organize tasks better. Another standout feature is the capability it provides for team collaboration, which allows different teams to work together seamlessly on projects, offering greater visibility for upper management. This integration significantly enhances communication and collaboration across different departments, which is essential for my compliance audits and exams management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think sometimes monday Work Management has a lot of fields to complete. A simpler, more minimalistic option would be nice.

I like the collaborative nature; that it's easy to see across the team in real-time

Some of the UX is a little clunky- would prefer more intuitive customization options for tables, etc.

I primarily use it for marketing calendar and sales/marketing project management. However, my operations team uses it broadly for operational project management

I appreciate how it helps keep everyone aligned and accountable. The ability to view progress at a glance is very convenient, and real-time updates significantly reduce the need for lengthy email exchanges, especially when you add clients as guests to our boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, Monday can feel somewhat cluttered due to the abundance of features and various board types, which makes it time-consuming to standardize processes across different teams. If there were greater flexibility in reporting or simpler cross-board automation, the experience would be even better. Additionally, most of the features require payment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a client-facing lead, I find that Monday Work Management centralizes everything in one place, which makes it much easier to coordinate both internally with specialist teams and externally with clients. It greatly reduces the need for back-and-forth emails and ensures that communication remains agile, transparent, and easy to track. As a result, there are fewer delays, clearer accountability, and smoother collaboration for everyone involved.

The time tabs and importance tabs are particularly helpful, allowing me to efficiently manage my schedule and prioritize tasks. I think that sometimes the explanations for some of the functions in monday Work Management could be more easily explained.

Time Saving and Customization with monday Work Management
What do you like best about the product?
I greatly appreciate the ability of monday Work Management to allow me to personalize and customize boards and processes according to our specific needs. This includes the ability to have an overview of our activities through dashboards, which is particularly advantageous for tracking different tickets and processes. Additionally, I like how the platform simplifies the management of exchanges and transfers of tickets from one department to another, which improves operational efficiency. Automations save us valuable time, making the entire system not only faster but much smoother to use. Finally, the integration and initial setup are intuitive and simple, whether it's to import an existing Excel file or to create new boards and automations.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a difficulty with the mirror column in monday Work Management, because although it allows searching for information, it does not allow using this information as a key to create items such as tickets. It is impossible to base a ticket or an item on the data from this column, which limits its usefulness.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use monday Work Management to simplify exchanges and the transfer of tickets, which saves us time thanks to automations.

What do you like best about the product?
It is interactive, you can house all the information for a project - chats, documents, information that is normally spread through emails, spreadsheets, etc so much better to have all the information in one line item or project board. Also setting up automations and notifications when a new project starts, etc. We use it all day everyday throughout design all the way through manufacturing, inventory and shipping. We are collaborating with cusotmers on the site as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to convince my IT/operations team to link our current clunky ERP system to improve automations. So not really a Monday.com issue...a people/mindset issue
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to track projects and work orders more efficiently through the ease of documentation. We are tracking QC issues more efficiently and regularly. Overall documentation of orders allowing us to store and share history of orders, customers and projects as well as sharing information with stake holders more easily
Flexible System with Impressive Automation Features
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the system's flexibility and the range of automations it offers.

The search everything can be a bit clunky and it does seem to slow down quite often

This tool enables us to monitor our sales leads effectively. We are able to manage these leads using a contact strategy that incorporates automation.

I appreciate how monday Work Management enables seamless collaboration across multiple departments all at once. It's fantastic to manage various dependencies centrally and have access to templates suited for different acquisitions my business is undertaking. I also value the ability to maintain both low-level detail and high-level portfolio management within the platform. The initial setup experience was extremely easy, which was a pleasant surprise.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the reporting elements could be improved with regards to the way data is visualized and represented. Although there have been improvements this year, further enhancements are still needed in this area.

I use monday Work Management to manage business acquisition integrations, allowing for seamless collaboration across departments and handling multiple dependencies with templates, while providing both detailed and high-level management.
