What do you like best about the product?
I find it very easy to use and navigate, which makes managing my work a lot simpler. I appreciate how everything is organised neatly, allowing me to quickly locate tasks and keep track of deadlines. I also enjoy the ability to tag and communicate with my team members through pulses, as it helps us stay updated and coordinated on our projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The task filtering tools can be a little restrictive, and I don't find the “My Work” area particularly useful.

Helping keep track of projects that have multiple people across the team working on it and notifying each person once they're needed.

What do you like best about the product?
Collaborating with your team members has never been simpler, allowing you to effortlessly coordinate projects and monitor the specific tasks you're responsible for. With a well-structured system in place, you can easily assign duties, set deadlines, and track the progress of your contributions, ensuring effective communication and seamless workflow throughout the entire team.
What do you dislike about the product?
When faced with an overwhelming amount of information, it can be quite challenging to stay organised and keep track of the tasks you need to accomplish throughout the day or week. The sheer volume of details can create confusion, making it difficult to prioritise what truly needs your attention. As deadlines approach, managing this influx of data can lead to stress and frustration. It becomes essential to find effective strategies to sort through the noise, streamline your responsibilities, and ensure that nothing important slips through the cracks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working together across various departments is significantly enhanced when all team members utilise a unified system. This cohesive approach streamlines the reporting process, making it easier to compile and analyse data. Additionally, it provides valuable insights into the time required to complete specific tasks, allowing for better project management and resource allocation. By using a shared platform, teams can communicate more effectively, share updates seamlessly, and ensure everyone is aligned on goals and deadlines.

monday.com Work Management Review

  • November 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Highly Adaptable Work OS

monday.com Work Management stands out as more than just a project management tool; it is a fully customizable Work Operating System (Work OS) that unites teams and data. Its visual, no-code environment makes it accessible to users of all skill levels, while still providing the advanced features necessary for complex enterprise operations. If your organization values flexibility and automation, monday.com is a top choice to consider.

Ease of Use and Flexibility: Built for Rapid Adoption

A major advantage of monday.com is its user-friendly design and the ease with which teams can adopt it. The platform’s core structure revolves around highly visual, color-coded "Boards," making it simple to see who is responsible for each task and when it is due. The intuitive drag-and-drop interface, along with multiple viewing options such as Kanban, Calendar, Timeline, and Gantt, enables team members to organize and visualize their work in a way that best suits their needs, ultimately enhancing productivity.

The platform’s flexibility is exceptional. It is not limited by the type of work being managed, so whether you are running marketing campaigns, tracking development sprints, managing sales pipelines, or handling HR requests, you can do it all within customizable boards. This versatility enables monday.com to serve as a single source of truth across departments, helping to break down data silos.

AI and Automation: The Engine of Efficiency

monday.com incorporates AI features and automation to shift from reactive to predictive work management. Its AI capabilities are accessible through features like AI Blocks, which can be added to workflows without requiring any coding. These blocks handle important tasks such as:

Automated Status Reporting: Summarizing project updates and generating reports from data across various sources.

Risk Detection: Monitoring project health in real time to proactively identify potential delays or bottlenecks.

Intelligent Assignment: Evaluating team capacity, skills, and workloads to assign tasks more effectively.

The automation builder uses a simple, no-code "When X happens, Do Y" recipe system. This allows teams to automate repetitive tasks—such as sending reminders, triggering approval requests, or updating status fields when specific conditions are met—greatly reducing manual work and the risk of human error.

Customization and Scaling Capabilities

Customization is a key strength of the platform. Every board, column, dashboard, and automation can be adjusted to fit specific needs. Users can begin with one of the many pre-built, industry-specific templates and then personalize it using a "building blocks" approach—adding columns for anything from basic text and dates to complex formulas, time tracking, or rating systems. This adaptability is essential for organizations that need their systems to evolve in tandem with their changing requirements, without being hindered by rigid structures.

For organizations experiencing growth, the ability to link multiple boards and dashboards gives leaders a comprehensive, high-level perspective (Portfolio Management), while individual teams can stay focused on their own tasks. This ensures alignment throughout the organization.

The monday.com Marketplace: Extensibility and Integrations

The monday.com marketplace is an extensive ecosystem that enhances the platform’s capabilities as a Work OS. It offers hundreds of integrations and custom apps, enabling you to connect monday.com with nearly any external tool your team relies on, including popular services like Slack, Google Drive, Outlook, Salesforce, and Jira.

This extensibility is crucial for building seamless workflows. Whether you need a straightforward integration to turn an email into a task or a more advanced app for analytics and reporting, the marketplace ensures that monday.com can serve as the central hub for your organization’s digital operations, rather than operating in isolation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited Mobile App: The mobile app is frequently described as having limited functionality compared to the desktop version and can be clunky or poorly suited for viewing the main board structure on small screens.

Useful Features Limited: Many useful or "pro-level" features—such as robust time tracking, recurring tasks (which use automations), and advanced reporting—are often locked behind the higher-tier paid plans (Pro or Enterprise), making the lower plans feel limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
monday.com recognizes that its highly visual nature must not be a barrier, and they are actively working to make their core platform compliant with international standards to support users who are blind or visually impaired.

The company is committed to meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Their roadmap is currently focused on making the core platform elements (Boards and building blocks) compatible with major assistive technologies.

Their commitment involves integrating accessibility into their regular development and design processes, which suggests continuous, measurable improvement rather than a one-time fix.

The platform's goal is to ensure that all users can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with the digital content equally, regardless of their reliance on assistive technologies.

All-in-One Solution for Streamlined Team Collaboration

  • November 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about monday Work Management is the ability to have everything in one place, and manage large volumes of work across multiple teams. Features such as connected boards, mirror columns, the ease of setting up automations help to give a much clearer view of the work that's happening at any one time. It's something we've built and integrated around our ways of working processes, and because of this the vast majority of the team are using it every day. Overall, it's easy to implement, and I would say we've got quite a sophisticated set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having been using monday for a while, there are some improvements and new features which would be beneficial adding. For example, we'd like to be able to pre-populate deadlines on subitems for each step in a process based on the overall project deadline - as a project management tool it feels like this is a basic requirement. Reporting I think needs work as well, while the dashboards you can build are really insightful as a current snapshot on your board, it would be beneficial to look back at the last year, last 6 months etc. and not just the board as it stands. Exec view is also a feature we've been waiting for to make reporting to senior stakeholders much easier. Customer support when you need help are good, but overall not always proactive in telling us about new releases, new features that we could be making use of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having everything in one place is probably the major benefit. We're a large team working across multiple business areas and a vast amount of work - it helps to have one source of truth.

Great for Task Sharing, But Automation Needs Work

  • November 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Can easily share and manage tasks across teams, with various levels on control and visibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Automation could be improved, and it could be made easier to have other tasks automatically mirror across to other boards. Currently, it is quite a long workaround.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to see what the rest of the team is working on, saves time trying to keep track of everything.
