Getting our processes organized
What do you like best about the product?
Our financial database has zero functionality for tracking grant and project performance and updates. We are using it to track accountability (when reports are due), link grants and projects to our strategic plan, classify grants and projects, and so much more. The status button and drop-down function are highly useful for strategic plan linkages, status updates and classifications of investments and project attributes. Love the look, feel and interface and the cards are a great format to present detailed info to stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one issue I've experienced is a lack of flexibility with sub-items. I wish I could craft them so several sub-items automatically rolled up dollars and other attributes to a main item.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to review and process sponsorships as a team. It enables us to track agency-wide projects and internal processes as a team. It allows us to link grants, projects and sponsorships to strategic plan priority areas and goals.

User-friendly client management
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has been easy to learn and use. I'm an attorney and my 2-person staff and I use it for tracking progress on client projects. I didn't want to use client management systems marketed specifically to attorneys because I knew there would be an added cost, and Monday.com works just as well, if not better, for a lower price.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not the most intuitive platform, although it is pretty easy to figure out the basics. Sometimes there is a lag when updating status, which can be confusing if you're not expecting it. Otherwise, it's been great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking the progress of client projects and coordination with staff members (including remote staff). We have more than 40 clients, and there's no way we could keep track of the progress on each of them without Monday.com.
My team and I have been using Monday for a few months now and are very comfortable with it
What do you like best about the product?
This tool allows multiple people to work at the same time, assigning projects to more project managers at a time and making sure that all information is shared among those who are interested, thanks to a very convenient tag system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that comes to minf is the format of the exports, which is not always particularly user-friendly, but it's not a function I use very much so it doesn't cause any particular issues.
It would also be useful to have the possibily to share in view-only some contents with people who do not have a Monday account.

It allows all people on the project management team to exchange information quickly and always have access to the details of all ongoing projects and the related details

What do you like best about the product?
I like the capability of creating, tracking, organizing, and scheduling 15+ projects at once, with the visibility to update any project from one screen. From there, I can create meeting notes on any of these projects and attach a project schedule to the same meeting notes. This provides great visibility for clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Importing data from excel is not perfect at all, unless you want all the cells to just have text information. It's cumbersome to import addresses, date ranges, cells with lots of text, or information that you'd like to be in a drop-down menu format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility. Previously, our client was not able to see much of the behind-the-scenes work we were providing on the 20+ projects we handle for them. Now, we can easily track, assign projects and tasks, and allow our client to see the updates from Monday.com.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy and versatile the program is. Being able to keep track of various aspects of our business all in one place has made efficiency improve significantly. I love being able to set reminders this way if life gets too busy Monday.com has my back and won't let me forget or fall behind on getting the job done and making our customers happy.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only complaint is that the program can run a bit sluggish at times. I also wouldn't mind seeing a pricing option for smaller businesses that don't need 3 seats. Our business is just my husband and I and he is anti-technology so as far as usage goes, it's just me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com replaced using several products to get the job done. Before Monday.com I was using spreadsheets, reminder apps, calendars etc. and the efficiency just wasn't there. With Monday.com I have everything I need in one program which has improved efficiency greatly.

Very simple to use, yet it has everything I need.

The inbox section could be better. Some of the layouts can feel a little too big. It can be hard sometime to see all this info.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful aspect of using this service is being able to track every step of any process. Our team uses Monday.com to assign different tasks to different people from the same project. Every morning, Monday.com is the 3rd app I open to see what "My Work" shows for the day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I use the Monday.com app from the Apple App Store and occasionally, the app has some trouble refreshing from the servers. Overall, performance is a little sluggish, whether using the app or in a browser. Navigating "My Work" is both a positive and a negative. When viewing tasks in the "My Work" view, it's not always obvious what project the task is tied to. We use a workaround of clicking on the board of the assigned task. This usually works, but it is inconvenient to have to leave "My Work" in order to determine what project you're working on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
5 years ago, our company did not have a marketing department. All printed materials and creative projects were handled by our parent company. Once the responsibility of marketing was turned over to us internally, it became increasingly obvious that we needed a project management system. A spreadsheet of priorities and completed projects was not cutting it. Monday.com has allowed our department to grow from 2 people to 6 without bottlenecking project performance.
