Having everything in one place, being able to see when I contacted a customer and next outreach attempts, the ability to leave notes about each account and soon hopefully my business will integrate with Salesforce to send automatic emails

I like how easy it is to use the software for mulitple purposes and how easy it is to set up Boards and customize columns.

I wish there was an auto-update feature when you have the desktop app always on

What do you like best about the product?
Monday allows me to carry my job files with me wherever I go. Viewing drawings of areas on the move is a handy tool. Being able to quickly see each attached documents relevant to the job makes it easier to track the progress of jobs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Monday needs a selection tool to override automations in certain areas. For example, my automation is set to create a material order form on receipt of a purchase order but sometimes I already have material for the job on the shelf so I then have to delete the order form in question.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday gives me a place to store all job data so I can easily see the progress of open jobs on the timeline and add new jobs as they come in. status bars and time-flow charts give me a great visual representation at a quick glance.

Monday is a solid platform for syncing calendars, keeping track of advertising budgets, and staying up to date on team projects.

What do you dislike about the product?
Since rebranding from DaPulse to Monday a few years ago, Monday has split off some features to create additional, separate subscriptions, which can drive up user cost.
Things that are frustrating: not being able to copy and paste from excel into Monday (beyond a single column); the document function is a bit rudimentary in its capabilities; viewer links can only be used by people outside of your organization so if you are working with internal clients, you won't be able to use viewer links.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of where in the pipeline projects are, specifically with teams that are less connected.
It has allowed us to integrate quarterly OKRs and develop content schedules around them that ensure easier, more transparent report backs to our internal teams.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that the included templates get you up and using the software to make meaningful improvements to your business processes. I even learned some new techniques because they were built into some templates. I'm a better manager now because I used monday.com.
What do you dislike about the product?
My least favorite thing is now greatly mitigated by their CRM offering. Because the software is so easy to use, it's easy to get yourself bogged down in duplicated and inconsistent data. A perfect example is a Customer list. There are tools to help with this, but they are a little more difficult to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
monday.com provides a usable way for our company to keep each other updated on progress accomplishing our work. Rather than relying on memory or scattered, inconsistent checklists, we now can share our formats very easily. Even better, we don't have to duplicate efforts in personal task tracking vs reporting to the team. It's all there in monday.com.

While monday.com is a fantastic tool overall, it does have a few areas that could benefit from improvements. One of these is the pricing structure, which can become quite high for larger teams, making it less accessible for small businesses on a tight budget. The initial learning curve can also be steep for those new to project management software, as the vast array of features can be overwhelming at first. Lastly, although the customization is excellent, it sometimes leads to confusion, especially when the configurations are not properly managed. Nonetheless, with time and familiarity, these minor issues become less impactful.

IT IS VERY EASY TO USE AND GREATLY FACILITATES COMMUNICATION AMONG COLLABORATORS, IN ADDITION TO KEEPING ALL ENTRIES RECORDED.

I DON'T SEE DISADVANTAGES. MAYBE A MORE EFFECTIVE NOTIFICATION WHEN TAGGED IN SOME ACTIVITY.

WE HAVE ACCESS TO THE ENTIRE OPERATION, FACILITATING THE CORRECTION OF FAILURES AND MONITORING THE WHOLE PROCESS UNTIL ITS FINAL STAGE, KEEPING THE DATA RECORDED TO BE USED IN A FUTURE ACTIVITY.
Great automations but pricey
What do you like best about the product?
The automation to notify team members is straightforward to customize. We love it for that reason. It's also pretty easy to use even though the visuals can be overwhelming in the beginning, they offer a variety of views to match different work styles.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price it's expensive for tiny businesses which we work with. It's hard to refer them to our customers because of the price. Also, the customization that allows you to work on projects in order of assignment is on the most expensive plan. Again, not the best for tiny businesses, but great for growing small businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time tracking helps a lot, as does workflow management. It was a bit difficult to see who was waiting for who, and how much time was being spent on project with our previous platform.

Innovative system that is constantly being updated, providing users with resources that meet their activities, but as mentioned, always innovating.

I believe there could be more automations focused on the sub-elements and work areas.

Task and activity management and their flows, this benefits us by tracking what can be done in the available time.
