Allowed my operations to scale exponentially
What do you like best about the product?
Item and task-level communications. The ability to easily share files. The ability to create automations. I also like the function of templates and private boards too.
What do you dislike about the product?
It very well could be ignorance on my end and it could be that Monday.com already has this feature, but I wish there were a more robust accounting/invoicing/ financial aspect to the platform. I'm still using an external solution and I would love to bring everything into one location via Monday.com
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com also serves as a CRM for our leadflow. Overall the platform has solved every problem we had with task and project management. We now have the capacity to manage ongoing monthly support and project-oriented support. All of this in one platform and in one location. We can easily handle multiple projects for a single client.

The most intuitive solution for your organisations needs
What do you like best about the product?
monday.com can be tailored to suit your organisation's needs. The ready-made templates are easy to use and adapt to different functions across your company. We run monday.com across Technology, HR and our business development functions with successful results. All use cases to date have generated great value to our teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
When using automation and email messages it would be advantageous if formatting was allowed in these emails.
In addition, we use monday.com docs regularly and when you export or print these to PDF, the formatting for embedded widgets or charts sometimes does not print the whole page width.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
monday.com is providing full transparency of information where we were not always mature enough to put this together. It has highlighted (as expected) many gaps that we need to evolve and has provided us with a solid baseline to expand on.

Short Review -
Positives: Great visuals, easy and fun to use, lots of functions/automations, fast customer support.
Negatives: Many of the more extensive features are either 3rd party "plug ins" and come at an additional cost and if they are provided by monday they require the premium package which comes at a higher cost. Guest seats are limited at the lower priced packages so if you work with or move between freelancers it requires more work on your end to remove and add usesers or upgrade to a more expensive subscription.
I've been using project management software for years now. I've bounced between Jira, Notion, Asana, and a couple others depending on the company and projects I was assigned to. All of these softwares were fairly easy to very confusing (for my designer brain) to intergrate into. Some took HOURS to set, and were hit or miss on how helpful they were for me personally to track projects and progress.
However, as well built as the platofroms were, as graphic designer none of them stuck with me. All of them were, for lack of better words, boring and lackluster to use. I get it, PMS doesnt have to be exciting or fun to use, it has to be functional above all else. BUT, with Monday you get all of the useful and necessary functions of a top teir PMS but with fun little features that keep my creative and adhd brain entertained. Like fun animations when changing a project status to "done" a llama farm that uses colored llamas to visually represent your project load, and a dark mode.
I WANT to use this software, I dont have to force myself to use it. The attention to little details, fun animations, and colorful interface make this software enjoyable to use. You get all the bells and wistles like push notifications, automations, gant charts, calendar tracking, asset librarys and links for non users to stay updated on projects and progress.
Monday is also easy to intergrate with a current working team and new users. Their interface is not as "scary" as other PMS out there and our freelance designers catch on to the work flow very quickly and easily.
Their support team is also great to work with. They are all super knowledgeable and quick to respond. I most recently reached out about pricing options after removing a ton of non active useres and guest. We disscused my comapnys long term goals with using their software and updated my subscription plan to best fit my needs, all in a live chat. I am beyond impress with Monday and highly reccomend this software to anyone looking for a PMS that is robust, visually appealing, and fun to use.
I use Monday for my "9-5" Deign job and for tracking my personal freelance projects.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not a dislike or issue, but more of a disclaimer. Like all project managment softwares, Monday comes with a rather hefty start up time to get all boards customized to your team, automations set in place, and your workspace/boards flowing with your team. This can even be a little overwhelming given the amount of functions and features but after dedicating a couple hours to build a base, we adjusted as needed over the first few weeks to get the software to match our teams work flow.
But a huge a plus is again, their customer support! Our account rep was a huge help in getting us started and their live chat support team was amazing! With everything from answering basic to complex questions to helping us decide which functions would help us the most to start and what we could slowly start to intergreate after we were aquanted with the first set of features. After using this software daily for over a year and intermitently over the past couple years, I still enjoy using it and fully intergrated it into my work flow.
It's a wonderful change from the normal routine of intergrating a PMS then dropping it. After a couple of month using other PMS I woul have to force my self to use open them up and use them, then drop them all together.
Give monday a try, youll be beyond pleased and never look seach for another Project Management Software again.
