Very useful thus far, looking forward to using more features
What do you like best about the product?
I've just started a new role at a company that uses Monday and it's thus far been a fairly intuitive application to use. In particular I've liked the content calendar feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure when I first opened Monday I was offered a tutorial or anything. I'm being onboarded by colleagues but I imagine without this I might've struggled to grasp the structure and layout of the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily, I use Monday to plan social media posts and communications campaigns, and I've found the calendar feature and the ability to edit colours and notes very helpful on that front. I think it's difficult to visualise content plans so Monday makes that very easy. My colleagues use it for production/client work but I haven't yet done so.
Monday.com is customizable in so many amazing ways
What do you like best about the product?
I am obsessed with this software! It allows you to customize your workflow, project views, and all of your automations in ways that make sense for YOU and whatever unique project you might be working on at the time. We use it for managing events, day-to-day youth programming, and even individual employee goal setting and annual workflow plans.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside of Monday.com is that because it is so flexible, you really have to be on the same page with your team about HOW you are using it. It allows you to approach project management from many different work styles and preferences, so setting the workflow processes with clarity across the team is KEY before you dive into your next big project!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem that Monday.com solves for us is our internal communications as a team - when it comes to projects, events, programs, or administrative tasks, Monday.com keeps us all on the same page.

Since it has more features and customization options can make it overwhelming and sometimes confusing for some users. And it is entirely web-based, meaning that users need an internet connection to access the platform.

Teams often struggle to keep track of all their projects and tasks, leading to confusion and delays. Monday.com provides a clear and visual representation of all tasks, their status, and deadlines, making it easier for teams to stay on track
Having worked with other Management tools before Monday.com it seems like a tool with superpowers

I have mostly worked with the Apis and custom app integrations with Monday.com, which was easy considering the well-documented information and the vast community and the helpful technical support available.

The only thing I have encountered numerous times is that there are limitations on the action we can perform on mirror and formula columns. These restrictions could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are utilizing monday.com for various use cases that exist specifically for us. For instance, implementing a somewhat CPQ-like feature for product offers and discount applications and user authentication management paired with email notification to the user on login. All these are managed directly on the Monday boards, possibly because of the available automation and inbuilt app integration.

Some people may find the platform too complex or too customizable, especially if they have no prior experience in project management or using similar tools. This may make it difficult for them to fully utilize all the features offered by the platform.

The software is highly appreciated by businesses for its wide range of features and the ability to simplify work and project management. Has helped us very much and much appreciated by everyone in the organisation.
A Collaborative Work Tool With Minimum Manual Inputs

- ability to use automations to eliminate manual updates.

- difficulty linking data in two workspaces. Limitations in the mirror and vlookup functions.
- Inability to use advanced Excel functions like Sumifs, countifs etc. there are no alternatives for these.

Overall View of the task in a glance which helps to identify the bottlenecks. it also helps in assigning the tasks among different departments with clear overall visibility using workflows and automation.

A useful platform
What do you like best about the product?
I love about Monday all things you can do in one platform. It allows you to customize everything and you can import every sheet you have in Excel, create gantt, and follow up on projects

So far the thing that I disklike is that in the part of invoicing where you can create an invoice for your client it does not allow you to modify the columns but other than that everything is customizable

Well I have a lot of things there. I can interact with other departments, assign projects tasks and I even have my CRM there so everything is integrated in one place

What do you like best about the product?
Using monday.com we can manage tasks at the subitem level at the same time we can track the status of tasks using dashboards also we can get notifications using automation and integration. Monday.com Also provides an Integration platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations of columns. In the dashboard, and chart views we cant use the formulae column. Also, there are some problems in the monday.com pivots view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using monday.com I am saving valuable time using quick dashboard views. Monday.com also provides Intimations as required. Using monday.com I can easily interact with my teammates and able to discuss tasks easily.
