Interactive and cooperative tool that allows users to keep real time track of its projects

  • August 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to have all my workspaces within the same place
What do you dislike about the product?
You cannot have multiple structures / columns within the same board, this is troublesome as In my case I need to have RAID Log, Project Plan, Meeting Minutes within the same board, without having to filter. Also Monday.com only allows to have subitems, depending on the project you would need to go at least two levels down
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The need to use multiple spreadsheets to manage the work, the ability to control and prioritize the updates I want to provide to the stakeholders

Scatter Brain Now Organized

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My business has multiple levels of operations that can become mind-numbing to keep up with. We used to have fractional systems, all separate, and it was next to impossible to keep up with all emails, tickets, tasks, and ongoing projects. With Monday, we are able to hold all of this in a one-stop, easily organized place. I can track my projects more effectively and keep my workflow streamlined and integrated. Best part, it is easy to implement and teach to my team. It has improved their ability to keep up with customer support tickets. We use Monday every day for all major customer support and project management operations. Simplicity and integration at it's finest.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system used to delete, move, or archive certain items could be a bit clearer. At times I may lose an item if I click the drop down menu wrong. The search function also works perfectly 99% of the time, but sometimes I feel it is missing things making it a bit harder to find that random needle in the haystack.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has resolved the problem of having all of our different projects and outstanding tasks being saved in a bunch of different places from Slack to FreshDesk. Now they are all in one place, which allows my team to track better and helps me track their workflow and more effectively manage our teams.

What do you dislike about the product?
Although it has many integrations, I wish there we more with the platforms that we use within our company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It massively assists with inter-company communication and updates on projects, task management, bird eye view for our new product releases, as well as certain board management across different teams.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to work asynchronously with my team members, having our concrete processes live in our Marketing board, and timely updates on the progress of our projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't as user friendly for first time users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management workflows. Previously, we were overusing emails, documents and in-person meetings to manage projects. Now we can work remotely and still be productive and organized.

Game-Changer for Team Productivity and Project Management!

  • August 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has completely transformed the way my team and I work. From the moment we started using it, we saw an immediate boost in productivity, collaboration, and overall clarity on project timelines. The platform is incredibly intuitive and flexible — whether you're managing a simple to-do list or coordinating a complex project with multiple stakeholders, Monday makes it easy.

The visual boards are a dream for tracking progress, and the automation features have saved us countless hours on repetitive tasks. I also love the integrations with tools we already use like Slack, Google Drive, and Zoom — everything is centralized, which reduces confusion and improves efficiency.

One of the best parts is how customizable everything is. We’ve been able to tailor our boards to fit our exact workflow without needing a developer. Plus, their customer support is outstanding — quick, friendly, and always helpful.

In short, Monday.com has become the backbone of our operations. I can’t imagine managing work without it anymore!
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile experience isn’t as seamless as the desktop version. It works well for quick check-ins, but for more complex updates or board management, I prefer using it on a computer.

Without proper settings, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by notifications, especially in large teams with many active boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Monday, it was difficult to see where projects stood or who was responsible for what. Now, with visual boards and real-time updates, everyone has full visibility into tasks, timelines, and ownership. This has dramatically reduced miscommunication and project delays.
We used to juggle multiple tools, emails, and spreadsheets — it was easy for things to fall through the cracks. Monday brings everything into one centralized platform, so all our tasks, documents, and updates are in one place. This has improved efficiency and reduced time spent searching for information.
Monday has been especially useful for working across departments and with remote team members. Everyone stays aligned through shared dashboards and communication within the platform.

The only way I stay organized

  • August 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I am a solopreneur running my business mostly on my own. I've tried many other project management tools, but Monday is the one I've been using daily for the past several years. I love the ease of organization, the visualness of the tasks, and the ability to collaborate with contractors and team members across boards. I use Monday for everything from managing client projects, planning marketing content, organizing my business tasks, and more. It's pretty intuitive and easy to use as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had some issues in the past with buggy-ness or the platform being down. Because I use Monday to literally run my business day to day, this is pretty frustrating. Not the mention, the platform is far from inexpensive, especially as someone running my business solo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday keeps me on track with my tasks. Before, I had a really complex system for staying on top of client work, my personal business, and marketing. Everything was across different platforms. But with Monday, I can easily glance at my tasks and see what needs to be completed, where my clients are at, and what I'm falling behind on. I love that I can put EVERYTHING in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
I am a person who likes to organize with colour, with simplicity, and style... Its how my brain works. I find I most enjoy the simplicity of MWM. I consider it a Supercharged Spreedsheet, but it doesnt feel like I need to take a million courses to be able to do things.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was a bit more customizable to my companies needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its a great at keeping our team in the know. We use it to have electronic files available in office, and on the field. We are always live, and in the know.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to find your way around with Monday.
API capabilities allow for custom integration and implementing missing features relatively easily. It is very dynamic and allows for on-the-fly changes with ease.
We use it in our company on a daily basis for multiple and diverse functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the cost was lower for entry-level companies.
Even though customer support initially responded fast, their communication between themselves and their relevant departments was somewhat lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides structure, order and collaboration to our team.
It helps us streamline our business tasks, and allows us to conform with ISO 27001.
It helps us keep track of numerous processes in our business that require close monitoring.

Data Analyst's review on Monday.com

  • August 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
From a data-driven perspective, Monday.com shines in several key areas, particularly in how it empowers non-technical users to create, manage, and analyze workflows efficiently.

1. No Coding Required - Democratizing Workflow Creation-
One of Monday.com's strongest advantages is that it requires no prior technical or coding knowledge to get started. Users can build automated workflows, set up custom columns, create dynamic dashboards, and integrate with other tools - all through an intuitive, drag-and-drop interface. This significantly lowers the barrier to entry for teams that may not have technical resources, enabling marketing, HR, finance, and operations teams to create powerful data-centric workflows without relying on IT or developers.

2. Smooth, Interruption-Free Workflows Through Smart Column Mapping-
At the heart of Monday.com’s data management lies its column-based architecture. Once users properly map all the necessary columns whether for status, priority, ownership, due dates, or custom formulas and the workflow becomes seamless. Each task moves predictably from one stage to the next, and automations can trigger actions (like sending reminders or moving items) based on changes in data.

3. User-Friendly Interface and Accessibility-
Monday.com has invested heavily in UX/UI, and it shows. The interface is clean, colorful, and highly visual, which makes it easier for users to scan large datasets quickly and stay organized. Whether you're managing dozens or thousands of tasks, filters, views (Kanban, Gantt, Timeline, Table), and search functions make it easy to access relevant data fast.
Additionally, it is cloud-based and accessible across devices, so real-time access to data is never a problem.

4. Live Dashboards for Real-Time Insights and Analysis-
From a data analytics point of view, Monday.com's live dashboards are a major asset. These dashboards allow users to visualize data in real-time by tracking KPIs, progress metrics, workload distribution, and even custom formula-based indicators. Since the data is updated automatically as team members make changes, decision-makers have an up-to-date view of operations without needing to manually refresh or export data.
This also supports better forecasting and proactive problem-solving, as trends and bottlenecks can be spotted early.

5. Cost-Effective, Especially for Growing Teams-
When comparing feature-to-price ratios, Monday.com proves to be cost-effective, particularly for small to mid-sized teams. Its tiered pricing model lets you scale up as your data needs increase. Considering it includes project tracking, team collaboration, dashboard reporting, and automation in one platform, it reduces the need for multiple disconnected tools, thereby lowering overall operational costs.

6. Integration with Third-Party Data Sources-
Monday.com also integrates with a wide variety of tools like Google Sheets, Zapier, Excel, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox, and CRM systems. From a data management standpoint, these integrations allow you to import/export data and sync platforms, ensuring your Monday.com board becomes a centralized data hub for team operations.

7. Automation and Formula Columns for Advanced Data Handling-
For power users, Monday.com includes formula columns, which allow for spreadsheet-like functions (e.g., calculating time between dates, status-dependent metrics, etc.). Combined with automations (e.g., "If Status is X, then notify Y"), it enables a high degree of data intelligence and operational efficiency, without needing any programming.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Monday.com offers a visually rich, user-friendly, and no-code environment for managing projects and workflows, it is not without its limitations. For teams and organizations relying heavily on data scale, performance, and advanced analytics, there are a few notable drawbacks:

1. Performance Lag at Scale-
One of the most significant issues from a data perspective is that Monday.com begins to lag when handling large volumes of data. Once your boards accumulate thousands of rows and dozens of columns, the platform's responsiveness drops noticeably. Loading times increase, filtering becomes sluggish, and even minor changes like updating a status column or moving an item can feel delayed.

This performance degradation is particularly frustrating for:
- Enterprise-level users dealing with high data throughput
- Operations teams needing real-time updates without delay
- Cross-functional teams using shared boards with high-frequency edits

While Monday.com is great for small to mid-sized datasets, it starts to feel less reliable as a central data hub when the complexity and size of boards increase. This limits its effectiveness for analytics-heavy use cases or for businesses with rapidly growing data operations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday Work Management is solving several key problems for our team, particularly around visibility, accountability, and process efficiency:

1. Problem: Disconnected Tools and Fragmented Workflows
Solution: Monday.com centralizes project data, reducing tool-switching. Teams no longer need to manage tasks through separate spreadsheets, email chains, or chat threads.
Benefit: This streamlines operations and improves collaboration by offering a single source of truth.

2. Problem: Lack of Real-Time Visibility into Project Status
Solution: Live dashboards provide real-time updates on project status, workloads, and KPIs.
Benefit: Leaders can make informed decisions instantly, while team members stay aligned on goals and timelines.

3. Problem: Manual, Repetitive Administrative Tasks
Solution: Automations handle repetitive tasks like reminders, status changes, and updates.
Benefit: This saves time, reduces human error, and improves workflow consistency.

4. Problem: Non-Technical Teams Struggling with Complex Tools
Solution: Monday.com’s no-code environment allows non-technical users to build workflows, dashboards, and automations with ease.
Benefit: Broader adoption across departments, reduced dependence on IT, and faster onboarding for new users.
