We've been using Monday.com as a project management tool.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about using Monday.com is the app, which allows users to input information in the field and on the go. This beats our old methods of writing notes and waiting to get back to the office.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to learn more about the possibilities beyond just using it for tracking information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes collaboration and tracking easy!
With use and organization, this platform can be handy!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the unlimited options for organizing information and projects as well as the different layouts. I also enjoy being able to mention someone and assign people to tasks. I found, for our organization, it was best to manage our "projects" by partner or department. This helped us maintain a clear look at what was going on for each aspect of our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately for us, getting our employees to actually buy in was quite difficult. While it seems pretty straight forward to set up, we found difficulty in organizing our thoughts to best help us within the platform. It is easy to get messy so someone needs to be able to manage that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to lay out tasks step by step and assign people to those specific tasks has helped us move forward on particular projects. When someone sees something is marked "done", it pushes the next person to complete their portion of the project.
My team actually adopted it!
What do you like best about the product?
It's intuitive and simple to use for my change-resistant team members, while still powerful enough to customize to our specific team needs. I love the "updates" feature which allows us to give context to status updates. It has every column type that you could want and the automations are easy to build.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations to the structure and cross-board integration, but perhaps I have not trained myself enough to understand how to achieve my desired results. There are also some features behind a paywall that seem like they should be basic building blocks included for all users, such as certain summary views. The "My Work" section is also not customizable enough to allow the user to see the data that they want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Monday.com we didn't have any way to track the open tasks that our team had, nor a way to let each other know where we were at with those tasks. This has greatly improved collaboration and communication, allowing us to work more efficiently. Team members clearly know when their deadlines are. Our leadership can track workload and timing.
Using Monday in our workplace was transformative, and a big part of the company growth.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how flexible and malleable it is. Every board in our company account is tailored to the needs of each team, and it is much easier to learn and pick up than every other platform we've tried. It is visually comfortable to use while keeping critical information clear and accessible at all times. Customer support is highly efficient and responsive, which is another plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to complain about, but I do wish there were more demonstrated examples of different types of boards/uses. I feel like, despite all the benefits we're getting from Monday, we are not even close to fully taking advantage of all its amazing abilities! We just need an easier way to discover more of what it has to offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com is helping us coordinate our team workloads, project deadlines, scheduling clashes, and so much more. We're a creative production house with different branches and departments, and each project has a lifecycle that goes through several teams before its completion. Moving communication to Monday has greatly enhanced accountability, organization, as well as anticipating any problems and solving them before any issues occur.
Expansive Project Management Support
What do you like best about the product?
Integrations and collaboration - it's a game changer for teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to be able to have unlock groups within a board so that I can customize the options on subitems. It would allow each board to be significantly more efficient and almost entirely eliminate remaining excel workbooks for projects
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It eliminates the use of multiple programs and is a great dashboard to house all of our resources associated to projects. We especially love the email integration for client and business development work, so we're not chasing down emails in our outboxes and never missing a message!
Great for flexible consulting services firms
What do you like best about the product?
We appreciate the easy functionality for making project activities visible and allowing our team to coordinate timelines across projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have found it difficult to integrate simple time tracking so that we can see time spent against project activities
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps our team plan project timelines and activities and coordinate with external associates around shared expectations of project deliverables and timelines

What do you dislike about the product?
While mostly impressive, there are certain aspects of monday.com that leave room for improvement. The app marketplace, in particular, lacks comprehensive information such as text reviews for apps. The extent of pre-vetting undertaken for these third-party apps is also unclear. All this leads to extreme reservations about installing third-party apps due to data privacy and security concerns.
Some pre-defined board templates provided by the platform can be somewhat cumbersome / clunky.
The navigation to access some of the advanced features can be challenging as they are buried several menus deep. But the extensive knowledge base proves useful in guiding users through these minor navigation complexities.

Workflow and inventory management solution through Monday.com
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Monday is the ability to interlink so many different aspects and boards to work together. We use it at our shop to help us manage all the different types of jobs, along with managing the inventory process and how the individual jobs flow through our production facility. Being able to check the status of each job at any point from any point in the shop and have every team member able to access this information has been a huge help.
What do you dislike about the product?
How slow it loads or automates on different days. It seems very inconsistent on how well it is going to run that day, with some days feeling like the automations are not working at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com solves the ability for us to track a job throughout the entire production process and keep tabs on anything that may cause issues. It allows us to easily understand at a glance where a job is and what still needs to be done with it.
