Great software to get your team working together

  • March 16, 2023

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is a great tool for project and people management. It's highly customizable and allows you to build very detailed project plans with automated due dates based on previous projects or when another task is completed. We use it across a variety of projects and are able to organize those projects in a file system that makes finding like projects easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a hefty system and not for beginners. It took considerable time to get it set up to our liking. While the project analytics seem like a good idea, its not a feature we use enough to justify the time it takes to properly enter a new project so that it populate the right analytics boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management and team workflow are the most important things Monday.com has helped us with. We also use the system as a Digital Asset Management - that feature has been huge in documenting final creative projects.

Monday.com is an extremely intuitive and robust tool that streamlines the project, workflow, and resource management needs for over 1,000 projects. We can customize for our specific use case in ways we never could with competitor tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up dependencies is cumbersome and the logic breaks easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to streamline management of over 1,000 projects and workload of over 140 associates in an efficient and organized way. And automating actions is a big time saver!

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using Monday to help manage the creative asks that come in for marketing content. It's a good tracker to help us manage workflow and deliverable timelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can take time to onboard and learn all the options that Monday has to offer. This can be especially tough when bringing in new team members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday provides a place for multiple teams to collaborate. That is especially helpful for us because we are a global brand with offices in several countries.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that the dashboard and each table are customizable. I also really appreciate the ability to invite colleagues to collaborate and integrate other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
This may already be available, and I'm just unaware, but with so many capabilities, it would be nice to have periodic video tutorials that show you how to use different features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday allows us to keep track of where we are in different project stages involving more than one team. It also allows us to easily and quickly see how much of our workload goes toward various departments and priorities. We also use the online form creator to create a marketing collateral request form that other internal teams can use to submit requests for different marketing items. Using the form helps us avoid losing track of important requests or them getting lost in the dozens of emails our marketing team receives daily.

Monday - Helping an Organization Be Better

  • March 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Monday is a great platform that helps our organization communicate better and stay on top of tasks. I find it extremely helpful to use as a platform to communicate changes within a project and document the conversation about those changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Monday does have it's disadvantages. When trying to make our Monday boards for our web projects be cohesive to the Agile process, we have found some difficulties. There are also some small bugs / logistics when moving items that could run a little smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday allows us to put together client facing timelines and list out the tasks within a project. It allows the client to track the progress within a project and what has to be done. It is also a great platform for communicating internally regarding branding projects.

Adam Szabo - Review of Monday.com

  • March 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Keeping track of current projects. Specially like the automation possibilities, makes it easier to sync boards together.I like that outsiders can also look at boards and you can show them what you intend them to see.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once you reach a certain point, it can get slow. If we do a monthly review where everyone is looking at the boards, it can take up to minutes to load. This can be frustrating but it's not an every day occurance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workflow. It has made our workflow a lot smoother. The automations help projects reach it's potential a lot quicker. It also made it easier for us to work with clients, they can look through the tasks - everything became very transparent.

What do you dislike about the product?

It is a great way to categorize and sort my daily work tasks.

I'm the head of product in my company and the integration leader of Monday in my organization

  • March 16, 2023

What do you like best about the product?
The modularity, the friendly UX and the connectivity. Very easy to create and open new boards, create automation and to connect items between different boards and workspaces
What do you dislike about the product?
It is quite slow - the responsiveness could be better. There is no easy way to work with shortcuts and you have to use the mouse all the time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
having all the data in one place, working with my teams all across the world, and creating standardizations (templates, automation, etc.)
