Using Monday.com in a mid size company across multiple departments
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com helps keeps me and my team well organized. We can keep up with all the outstanding items we need to accomplish. We are also able to track the progress of our project a lot better than we did before not using a project management software.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to monday.com is that it isn't compatible with Microsoft Office for our account. If we do upload a document and need to make an edit, we have to make sure that we re-upload the new doc and delete the old one. Other than that, we love Monday.com
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that monday.com is solving is how our departments can work together. There are a lot of projects that we are bringing to the company, with multiple managers needing to be involved. Monday.com has allowed us to collaborate, keep everyone in the loop, and ensure we are on track with our project goals.
Monday to manage and assign tasks and streamline collaborations
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to customise different boards depending on the tasks needed are excellent. Also the abilitiy to upload existing Excel sheets into Monday and extraxting them from Monday are very valuable tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all fields are compatible with Excel (like country fields) and if you want to move tasks to another board you loose incompatible fields (versus adding unassigned fields based on which you could update the board to where it was moved)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving (viewing) access to external users is great so they see the stages of projects they are involved in. It eliminates sending out many "status update" emails.
Useful planning tool for businesses and teams
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful feature is the clear, laid out task overview (which includes the assigned member, deadline, points).
What do you dislike about the product?
Multiple notifications about small comments on separate tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday offers the possibility to cover deadlines more efficiently, as well as to easily search for a member's entire tasklog [done/in progress/not done].

What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy UI and the ability to customize for my needs

Minor feedback, but I do wish you had more control in the color coding availability
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Monday standardized task management and prioritization across my team along with improving communication on status. We are able to handle more things on our plate due to the organized nature of being able to keep track of it all

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that everything is live and available to anyone who is added to the board or task. We travel for business as Reps and need information for clients. We can access any information through the search option, or by viewing the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
The scrolling to the right to access columns. I know it's the only way to set it up, but some lines can have up to 20 columns. It's not easy on your phone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No matter where I am, or what device I am working on, I can access information. And it doesn't clutter up my hard drive.
Great tool for teams
What do you like best about the product?
Interestingly enough I just recommended Monday.com to a colleague last night. There are several key features of Monday that our three-member Communications team loves - the tracking, the assignment of owners, the status of projects, and ability to update projects and send auto notices to team members. We just learned about the time tracking feature and use that to track time and justify the teams work and product.
Overall it's great and we use it to guide our weekly team meetings.

We like everything about it. We continue to learn new features and we just learned about the time tracking of jobs last week.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping our team members stay on task and on track. It also allows us to track time on projects so we can justify the project worth and time attributed to each project.
An excellent project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can add tags to indicate the status of the task, and they are fully customizable. Dragging and dropping to different sections is helpful to indicate a change.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a function to change sections without having to drag and drop, a feature to click down and change it would be helpful. I would like to see that feature added!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com is a platform we use in virtual work, it helps us by providing details (and attachments!) for people to complete the tasks in a good way. Then they can indicate when it's in progress, if they need assistance, and when it's completed by utilizing the tags!

What do you like best about the product?
Very convenient but wish more work was put into it's functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many tasks are only available on web setting.

A lot of tasks in one place with good internal communication.

The most effective solution for efficiently tracking project progress while managing customer interactions and relationships seamlessly.

The desktop version experiences some lag.

Coordinating project tasks and assigning responsibilities is easy.
Powerful Project Management Software + More!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to customize each workspace, board, and more. It's also great to have the templates to work from if you are having trouble getting started. There are a good amount of column choices as well. I like that we can link to outside docs and upload files in one place. The automations are also super helpful for notifying about deadlines! It's my one-stop shop!
What do you dislike about the product?
In order to really harness the full power, there's a little bit of a learning curve. You do need to spend some time in the platform just messing around. (They do have many video tutorials though if that's your thing. Also, we've had issues with the Google Doc integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything is in one place, and we can effectively and powerfully manage any task, project, or product. We can see what's been completed and send notifications when items are due. We have decreased the amount of confusion and frustration about what's been done and what hasn't without having to check in with each person for every task.
