Effortless Organization and Seamless Navigation
What do you like best about the product?
The organization within Work Management is the most useful quality. Throughout my agency, there are hundreds of documents and notes we need to log. Work Management makes it extremely seamless and easy for anyone to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform often lags or takes a while to load, no matter how strong my wifi is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Work Management allows my agency and client to work out of the same platform and dashboards. It is extremely helpful to communicate with each through the same pages and leave feedback seamlessly.

I find the automations extremely helpful, as they enable my team to stay up to date with our tasks.

I have been using Monday for about a year now, and I honestly haven't noticed any significant flaws. If I had to point out something, perhaps the notes section could be a bit more streamlined, though I'm not entirely sure what changes would improve it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main advantage of monday is how it helps organize and manage the flow of tasks. I lead a team of six people, and we handle many projects. The platform has been extremely helpful in streamlining our workflow, especially when tasks need to be handed off from one team member to another.

This tool offers visual workflows for project management, allowing us to easily track our progress on different aspects of a project. It also provides access to more detailed insights when needed, which helps us stay informed about the finer points of our work.

The access to real-time updates and the ability to access the information from any web-connected platform (app or website).

If too many people have access to make changes, it can become unwieldy with a lack of consistency in data flow and processing.

Our primary use is for scheduling of our production areas. Because most of the work we do is project-based, we can have as many as 70-80 projects going through various stages of our operations. Monday.com allows us to provide concise, easy-to-access information specific to each area.

What do you like best about the product?
I work on the media/communication team for a church, and my team tackles a large variety of different projects and events. I appreciate that Monday gives us a place to keep all of those details and moving parts organized and accessible in one place. We use it pretty much every day to make sure everyone is on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
Building our workflow from scratch for our team has been a unique challenge. We still run into user error from time to time, and we are always looking for ways to improve our communication. I wish there was a way we could integrate some of our workflows in with our Church Management Software (we use Planning Center).

In the past, my team struggled with keeping all of our projects and tasks organized. With Monday, we are able to have all the details at our fingertips so that nothing gets missed!

I appreciate the ease of use of monday Work Management, which makes task organization straightforward and efficient for my team. I love how I can assign specific people to tasks, ensuring that follow-ups are clear and effective. The calendar integration is a standout feature for me, as it allows us to visualize our day-to-day schedule, determine our tasks, see who will be in the office, and manage much more. This helps in maintaining clear communication and ensuring nothing is overlooked. Additionally, I value how it connects our management team in one place, keeping our communication clean and crisp. Management can easily track project status and what needs to be done to keep us effective in the workplace.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the learning curve with monday Work Management quite challenging, as I haven't been able to fully explore all its features which could enhance my productivity. Additionally, the lack of integrated emailing functionalities requires switching between multiple browser tabs, which disrupts my workflow. While initial setup was straightforward, a more comprehensive tutorial could have streamlined my experience and utilization of the platform's full potential.

Great UI and Planning Tools, But Slow Performance Hampers Productivity

UI of the whole portal makes it very easy on the eyes and to follow through on different work departments and different clients.

Whole portal is very laggy and slow to use. There has been countless times where minutes of the day are wasted simply waiting for the search and sometimes the results would not even come up.

Keeping track of all the goods incoming into the warehouse as it provides a clear list of what is coming, what is outstanding and what has been done

Additionally, integrating with TrackIt provides a helpful time-tracking tool that assists us in understanding how time is distributed across different projects, which is valuable for management and efficiency. It would be beneficial to have more training videos or resources to improve understanding, as sometimes I struggle to figure out how these features pull data from one point to another. Automations, in particular, are a bit more challenging to understand and use effectively.
