Nuxeo as a DAM
What do you like best about the product?
Multiple features the platform offers, being able to extend the framework, connectivity to different cloud providers and architectural components
What do you dislike about the product?
The complexity to to developing on top of the framework is a tedious process, not completely developer friendly, documentation in multiple places

What do you like best about the product?
supports fully REST API which was very convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very cumbersome and heavy platform. We needed only part of the features it offers. We did not use the GUI and maybe better to look for a headless CMS
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Still had issues in the code we needed to debug ourselves.

What do you like best about the product?
Nuxeo is an ideal tool because it provides me with good content information in addition to offering me multiple options for asset protection and sharing with the required person. On the other hand it provides me with a very useful transition for my business since it is a very fast platform to other people's directions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like you to present an improvement in document customization. Apart from that, it is necessary to allow the loading of documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nuxeo is used by us for the management of content and commercial areas that require a condition of terms. In addition to providing us with great use since it does not require too much coding. For us it turns out to be a platform with excellent results.

I recommend this important platform because it offers a very useful functionality in content management and adopt a control based on important features. It is a tool of great interest for your organization.
Nuxeo artificial intelligence, with pleasure in general
What do you like best about the product?
It is ideal for my company, which provides me with a perfect transition from SharePoint and has been useful for my business. Like this tool is very fast and is accessible to me for information search. In addition to this I have potions to protect assets, review and have communication with my clients. Every function that this tool exercises has been useful for my company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found it a bit difficult to customize since your documentation is poor, it would be a good thing to improve on this point. You even have to access massive uploads of documents to perform this function. In general terms with this tool I have had a bit of trouble, but not difficult to solve with respect to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool benefits us in our company deals with the process of content and commercial areas. It also offers us content and data in real time. This is an easy to use platform and does not require further coding is ideal for our company. And we can acquire it with a fairly accessible cost.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is beneficial and quite useful, its functionality is ideal to be used in any company or business. It also contains an open code, comes free of charge, but requires security for other larger companies to obtain. It is important to highlight, one of the characteristics is based on the control and security of our companies

Powerful but Fragile
What do you like best about the product?
Nuxeo provides a very powerful platform for managing content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nuxeo is surprisingly fragile and sometimes basic functionality does not work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nuxeo provides rich tools for managing content. We have to spend less effort managing internal tools and have more time for higher level projects.
Good for document management and customisation
What do you like best about the product?
Good ECM tool which helps for document management and integration with other application, I can search documents, Upload and retrieve information the way I need it, It is completely user-friendly, With the few days of on job work one can easily work on it
What do you dislike about the product?
It has to enable bulk uploading of documents, it requires Nuxeo support assistance for this feature and this is a paid service
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security and access based control are one of the most important features and it's very cost-effective (larger companies do need to get the paid service though to ensure it works to its full potential.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend it - very cost effective (free! but you should get the paid version if you're a larger company)

Top three things I've come to love with Nuxeo:
1) Wow... what a broad offering. Finding that Nuxeo does almost as much as OpenText and other top tier competitors, and the rate of feature adds and expanded capabilities is proving to be very fast.
2) Documentation and training is very good (with a caveat, see below) -- there's digestible training for all levels
3) Nuxeo presents a very modern design. Modeling your new digital workplace is easy with the right tooling. Nuxeo delivers that without the burdens of its own previous designs (more on this below too)
BONUS: Search option. Wow... I mean what a great opportunity to do real federated search.

1) There's a bit of a learning curve for tech teams. If you've been deep in your legacy apps, this one is new. Training content is available and the support folks are great, but some thing you just got to get your hands dirty with. Plan for a longer ramp up period if doing the heavy lifting in house.
2) The transition to Nuxeo has been a little harder to communicate to legacy stakeholders. The hardest part of any digital transformation is getting user/stakeholder and, frankly, most of our IT team to think beyond the paper-paradigm and the "it's a big database". Transition goes much easier with a good taxonomist, evangelizing the lifecycle management (the record is the asset, DAM'it!).
2) The transition to Nuxeo has been a little harder to communicate to legacy stakeholders. The hardest part of any digital transformation is getting user/stakeholder and, frankly, most of our IT team to think beyond the paper-paradigm and the "it's a big database". I do not dislike anything about Nuxeo I think its great and really useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had a problem with user interfaces in the other platforms ive used but in this one its really easy and understandible.It also solves my problems with the capacity of cloud storage.It feels good to use a lot of storage without worrying about any kind of storage problems.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think you should consider changing from any other platform to Nuxeo because its easier it has a lot more capacity.So I say you consider changing to Nuxeo.
