Excellent product
What do you like best about the product?
I find Sage Intacct very easy to use and to navigate. Customer support is quite prompt in their replies and give detailed answers. I use Intacct very day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the financial and custom reporting was a little easier to use and manipulate. Account groups can be very tedious and there are some limitations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct is helping us with financial reporting.
We use sage daily to process payments and expenses

Tracking, workflow, ease of processing payments

If submitting multiple expenses per day, expenses can at times be hard to track

Sage is helping our organization stay organized by tracking all in and out flow of expenses for clients and office.
It was a wonderful experience working in Intacct.

What do you dislike about the product?
Till now I don't have anything to dislike and I didn't face any difficulties in doing my regular work and report preparation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can modify the fields and manage my views to extract reports from Sage Intacct as per my requirement so I need not do various manual works on the reports to bring it to my required format.

1. AR Management and reporting is easy to perform
2. AP can be easily integrated with "Nexonia reimburse" & Bill.com
3. Consolidation of multinational companies
4. Different kinds of balance sheets and P/L for management reporting

What do you dislike about the product?
I have been using intacct from the past 3 months and i couldn't come across any shortcomings. I don't have anything to dislike about Intacct due to its user-friendly GUI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1)Various reports can be generated at one click.
2)Bulk journal entries can be imported without any hassle.
3)Integration with third-party softwares

Very good at allocations

Allocations of costs between departments, locations, regions, etc.

Limited drill down, where the pop ups do not let you go back

Till now I don't find problems in sage Intacct
Invoicing
What do you like best about the product?
It's quite satisfactory when it comes to raising invoices or posting journal entries and I haven't faced any technical issues so far. It won't take much time to reflect on the journal entries we posted, unlike other software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I felt like it was taking too much time for reflecting on the invoices we raised. The time taken should be less it will be useful when it comes to the busy season or when a client comes up with an urgent request. Why should I go to another tab to see journal entries for the invoices I raised or the credit memos? It felt like too much of time time-consuming process to see the journal entries for that. There should be an option beside the invoice itself to see the journal entry for the respective invoice or credit memo. so that freshers won't suffer a lot in understanding the accounting or flow of transactions behind the invoicing process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The process of accounting is very smooth and it makes us understand very well. it removes the obstacles to understanding the accounting process and it is very flexible.

Not pleased. It's not ready for prime time.

I like the idea of it, but it falls short of delivering a functional system.

Deployment cycle is overly complicated, in part due to extent of customization available. Easy to get delayed, set back, or completely stopped due to excessive customizations that aren't well supported.
Lack of onsite deployment support is a significant drawback.
Requires significant time allocation by staff for at least 6 months prior to Go Live date. Our process took over 12 months and produced dissapointing results.
