Really awesome application for accounting and reporting
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly interface. Great reporting interface. Never faced application slowness and errors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now since I have really good experieance till now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct giving a user friendly interface which is helping me for accounting and reporting.
Excellent product
What do you like best about the product?
I love the versatility of the product but the main draw for me was that it is 100% web-based. The product is the same regardless of how I access it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I transitioned from a basic "box-like" accounting solution so the learning curve has been steep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to view financial data from multiple vantage points whether it be by department, by employee, or by project among others.
There's nothing that can't be done with Sage Intacct!
What do you like best about the product?
Everything is in one place, all in one system. We used to be with Quickbooks and have over 30 companies, so constantly having to switch entities and ask people to switch into multi-user mode was so annoying. We no longer have to deal with that. I can open as many windows and instances of Sage that I want or need to. It makes processing everything and digging into problems or questions so much easier and faster. There isn't a single function that we need or use that can't be handled within the Sage product. Another part of Sage Intacct that can't be left unmentioned is the reporting capabilities. The custom report writing is nearly limitless and is only held back by how complicated it can sometimes be to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
The worst thing that we've had happen with Sage is that we had a period of time where we were so busy, we could barely think straight. During that time, there were new features rolled out in Sage that you had to enable within user roles, features that really would have helped us at the time. We've since found them and rolled them out, but it would've been nice to know them sooner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have 30+ companies that all have common ownership, but ultimately different ownership, and Sage Intacct gives us a chance to keep all of our accounts the same so that things translate easier and better between all of our companies. Plus we can run all of our financials, bill payments, everything, all in one place. It has made us infinitely more productive. It has helped us to streamline so many tasks that we used to have to run manually from one entity to the next because of the recurring entry features Sage offers, and with the automation that they're working on developing, I believe it will only get better in the future.

This enables us to "stay with the times" and keep up with the latest technologies also, even in something as basic and boring as accounting and finance. In a world where AI is becoming all the rage and changing everything, it's changing the face of finance in a big way, and Sage Intacct is here for it. Attending their seminars, both in-person and online, they show how they are constantly working on growing the AI and automation side of accounting and finance, and making sure that all of their customers know it's available and that there's more coming.

Transitioning from Quickbooks to Sage Intacct.
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct allows me to work remotely when sick or on vacation. I can easily and quickly open each company. Sage allows us to run a treasury report for all of our bank accounts when Quickbooks only showed individual bank balances. Transfers are now a one step process for booking the entry using the inter company mapping capability.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you setup an entity you are no longer able to edit the ID or GL account which has caused major confusion and problems. We no longer have the ability to print out deposit slips using Sage and thus have to manually hand write deposit slips. Check image formatting is very limited. You cannot edit the font size or move the memo line. This causes us problems when trying to deposit a check. When you make a mistake in Sage you cannot edit some items and thus only have the option of reversing an invoice, etc and completely starting over.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct helps my company quickly run reports that Quickbooks did not offer. Some examples include vendor reports - invoices paid by all entities vs a single entity, max treasury list, etc.
It is good for accounting but for internal checks it is bit difficult
What do you like best about the product?
I like the reproting function in Intacct.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the reviewer section in Intacct and sometimes the data which we require is not in one rpoert and need to create mutliple reports to get the data

Ease of Access
What do you like best about the product?
I love the way we can really build the system to fit our company's needs. Imports are made easy by system templates, which allow our accounting to be done efficiently and effectiveley.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage Intacct has many different capabilies in advancing financial processes using 3rd party vendors. Many of these options don't have the proper support and can be developed to worked better.

It's great for inter-company transactions!
Very Friendly application
What do you like best about the product?
It's a very friendly application, anyone easily access this application. We can send collection reminders through Intacct, which will save a lot of manual work. We can upload multi-transactions in one template

It will take more time to upload huge transactions

We can easily perform bank recons, which will help us to fix reconciling items. We can upload huge transactions through templates. We can customize reports and use them effectively.

It is user friendly and easy to access. The financial position of the company is easy to understand

We cannot edit or delete the invoices in the intacct

Journal entries are easy to be done. Cash and order management is accessible
User Friendly and Very Simple software
What do you like best about the product?
Its user friendly and navigation part is too good. Excellent support from customer care. Authentication part is very nice since we have client confidential data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some search option improvement will be nice.
