Used Sage Intacct for 9 years and highly recommend
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is a cloud software that I can use anywhere. The reports and drill down capability are some of my favorite features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have many things I dislike. The regular updates and constant improvements keep me happy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct gives us up to date financial information that helps us make decisions without a lot of work in excel or other systems.

I generally find Sage easy to use, but there are some aspects where some things are hard to find. So
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of the accounts payable & accounts receivables processes for the staff at my organization
What do you dislike about the product?
The project/events module. We use it for grants and it has been very difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I can get them figured out, Sage will help me track grants more effectively ( I hope)

Software is excellent. More detail training would be beneficial.

Modern accounting, grant tracking. Cloud based.

Reporting features. Difficult to follow the flow of entires.

What do you like best about the product?
Configurability. I started with no knowledge of Intacct, but many years as a proadvisor and then years working in large ERPs. Intacct was easy for me to get my arms around.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a cost, for sure. But you get what you pay for. It's also been difficult for me, stepping into things much later to figure out who to talk to. We were implemented by a CPA, I think (it was years before I began) but sometimes I'm still lost. The community helps but I'd like to know who/how I talk to Sage. Rather than just calling this one guy that we know who somehow gets paid for our Intacct system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grant trackign and reporting. We don't have to use spreadsheets for this.
Sage Intacct is a game changer
What do you like best about the product?
Sage intacct is a game changer in the way accouting systems operate. Having the custimization within Sage from the dimensions to reports as well as all the API integrations available. We know Sage is with us for the long haul as we continue to grow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage intacct is continually improving which is great that they are listening to feedback, but for a smaller organization without a dedicated IT team it can be a lot to keep up with all the quarterly updates and releases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving to a more robust accounting software in Sage allowed us to solve monthly close and reconciliation issues that we previously had in QB online. We also have increased reporting that solves financial packages that would take weeks to get out and now we have expidited the process to get them out in a timely manner.
Works well
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of bank reconciliations, even in manual mode. AR is simplified by allowing filling in from previous invoices
What do you dislike about the product?
Fixed assets and Work in process can be cumbersome

Accounts receivable, General Ledger work, marrying all together easily
so far I love the system

it is user friendly and the support is really good

there is a big learning curve for when a new function is being learned

it seems like they are always evolving for new technology and that helps us as we like new things

AP approvals should be allowable by more than one person

I am able to automate my accounting functions making the task easier to complete on one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Report Writer isn't user friendly and difficult to achieve the information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves my department from using Excel spreadsheets and saves time with inputting invoices.
Sage Intacct Transform
What do you like best about the product?
I'm still learning about the system as we are in the process of implementing, but I'm looking forward to improved reporting in real time including dash boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure yet, but I will let you know.

We're hoping it will help us with better insight into budgeting and multi-dimensional reporting.
