Great software and user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
The recurring journals, the edit function on journals is very useful. The upload function via csv is also very useful in saving time.
It is also very user friendly to manouvre from different modules.

There are some functions in Sage 200 which have been removed in Sage Intacct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intaact is helping us keep track of data and quick data entry.

What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly platform, easy connection to other apps such as Concur, simple to export information into/from Excel, Sage University courses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Updates tend to be implemented and then reverted - It may be easier to launch to a select group w/ feedback.

Intacct integration with other systems - specifically Concur.

Very user friendly, intuitive, and simple to use accounting software.
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is very user friendly and easy to learn. I love the reporting features of Intacct as well as the functionality to click into line items when looking at P&Ls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage intacct doesn't integrate with one of the banks we use. Import templates for budgets and journal entries can be a bit tricky to learn. When refreshing pages on reporting and journal entries the page will often go back to the beginning instead of returning to where you were before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intacct helps us generate reports that are useful to management. It is very easy to write reports and get historical information on the fly. Intacct also allows us to easily look into P&L items and see attachements.
Sage Intacct is a great, reliable system with user-friendly applications and tools.
What do you like best about the product?
It's not overly complicated and provides an excellent layout for the user to understand and navigate. You can do imports, templates, etc., with the help you need readily available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are more difficult to manage when working with templates and imports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us solve reconciliation issues and simplifies our budgeting and financial packaging facets. It has improved and streamlined these processes and more within our business.
Love the system

I like the duplicate button. You do not always have to enter the same informtion twice.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes too long to set up. i wish the system includes classes.

It does not necessary benefit me in any because my job is not centered around it

What do you like best about the product?
Similar process system as QB Premier Desktop for Accountants.
What do you dislike about the product?
The essential user customization preferences such as Accessibility options, are obsolete.

multi-entity locations and departments reporting
Easy to use but costly
What do you like best about the product?
Still like the customizable reports, one-off billing schedules are easy to adjust
What do you dislike about the product?
The way it recognizes deferred revenue is not correct, it posts an entry to deferred revenue when a sales is created not when it is billed. It offsets on the balance sheet eventually but adds more work for your year end clean up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Global consolidation is helpful, the rest is the same as the majority of other ERPs out there.
Easy Access
What do you like best about the product?
Sage makes it easy to access everything I need to do daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage has a lot of different sub-titles that can get overwhelming if you don't know what you're doing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making it easy to get to what I need with the star feature.
Transition from QB to Sage has had ups and downs
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to clearly define the separation of duties. In a small organization, we must be able to have those checks and balances in place.
What do you dislike about the product?
When transitioning from a software such as QuickBooks online, there is a bit of a learning curve. The customer service portion of Intacct could be better in helping with smaller issues that arise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having the review and sign off of journal entries and other entries prior to posting. It helps ensure that the data is accurate and that there is more than one person in the review process.
