Excellent system for managing all things accounting

User-friendly interface and intuitive handling of day-to-day tasks

Only slight downsides I have seen are the reports can be somewhat cumbersome, and integration with other products could be more robust

Cash Management - when matching transactions in bank reconciliation, you can sort the transactions. When you move on to the next transaction, the listing reverts back to the original order.
Fixed Assets - This module is weaker than the other modules I work with General Ledger and Cash Management. Filtering the asset lists is difficult.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Timely processing of transactions and reporting to management. I have been able to perform my job efficiently. Sage Intacct enhances performance by providing robust transaction processing and reporting.
Sage Intacct has a user-friendly platform with a variety of reports which are easy to customize.
What do you like best about the product?
The best parts are the ability to customize different views and reports. It's also relatively easy to change existing entries during open periods rather than having to create several correction entries. The automatic intercompany functions also greatly facilitate our bookkeeping.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the integrations with other modules do not always work smoothly or have limited reporting functions (such as fixed assets). It's still great to have multiple options when choosing modules to integrate with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct automatically posts all intercompany entries which prevents manual intercompany errors. Intacct also creates standard invoices which are customizable and efficient to send out.

Sage is helping me accurately record activity for the company I work for
Intacct has made invoicing for AR so much easier.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how clear the formatting is and how user friendly the screens are. Finding information on customers, like who has paid and who owes money takes mere minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think having to look for customer invoicing only through the AR ledger and the AP one for vendors and not the customer and vendor tabs can be a little frustrating since the new update has come out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to look up a lot of customers and vendors for research purposes and I also use it to pull reports for the audits that we do, it has made that very easy with all of the options provided for formatting.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the web-based interface - it is accessible from different computers and is very easy to use. We migrated from SAP B1 two years ago and am very pleased.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the error messages are not overly clear. Also, the lack of a system to manage our fixed assets is a downside.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct solved a major problem we had in SAP, that being we have 10+ LLCs we are doing the books for, and the Location feature in Intacct created more efficiency as it relates to intercompany bookkeeping. It has also allowed us to easliy consolidate our books each month, which was a manual process before Intacct.

Sometimes it is tough to navigate and is very sensitive to double clicking

It is solving our bespoke SaaS contracting and revenue recognition

Sage allows me to pull large reports across multiple accounts easily. Sage also has a highly customizable dashboard which allows me to conveniently highlight the areas I utilize most.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some aspects of Sage are not intuitive and the error messages are not always clear. Also the system lacks an internal fixed asset system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage allows us to perform all of our accounting functions within 1 software system. In some cases, this allows for more efficient completion of tasks.

I like the user interface system. It's easy to navigate even as a new user.

The least useful is it can be overwhelming as a newer user.

I believe that one thing that intacct could do better is have a more modern UI.

Again, reporting it something that I belive that intacct and really done well with. I also have found the intacct classes especially helpful.
