Easy software to use.
What do you like best about the product?
The graphical user interface is very nice to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I'm looking at pay transaction and bills, the done button makes it harder to pick up where I left off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Access to information without having to search file cabinets.
Been using it for a while now, so far so good!
What do you like best about the product?
Lots of reporting choices, ability to create my own personalised reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Somewhat tricky to edit reports and can be a tedious task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's very smooth and efficient. Contains several functions you don't see in QBO for example.
Overall find it to be functional and straightforward.
What do you like best about the product?
I find it to be a clear and user-friendly platform. Learning how to use Sage Intacct is not overly complicated, which is appreciated by those of us who may not be very tech-savvy!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find the platform can be slow to respond and takes a while to process. Also, there are some occasions where I would want to have a back button available without losing information on the current page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helpful to have a platform to process payments and reduce email traffic. It is also helpful to have some visibility into managing budgets for my team so I don't have to constantly ask Finance for this data.
SAGE accounting system review
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use once one understands the separation of top level from other levels. Because none of us here really understood this well in the set up, things changed part way thru which in the end made it easier to understand and use efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
SAGE does not handle the requirements of Cumulative line item billings for billing against Federal awards. This is the biggest drawback I see in the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fairly easy to use and allows reporting by project with a variety of tasks and many ways to segment data with the Dimensions
One of the best accounting systems
What do you like best about the product?
The item that I love is the reclass feature. If I make a mistake in AP, it can easily be fixed without creating another bill or reversing things. Most ERP systems have problems doing these features without deleting line items
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess the only thing I do not like is the vendor list is a bit hard. to maneuver. also when you want to know the full history of your vendors, you cant without changing the filters
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They fixed the 1099 problem. They have added tax bandit, which allows an easy streamline to upload i should be using this feature this year.
My field in finance and Sage definitely work with reporting and reconciling.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to bill and and report at the end of business daily
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now just getting certain task automated and working with 3rd party vendors to do so
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main thing, especially learning from Transform last year is the reporting and how we can create different reports for AR and AP
This accounting system works well with invoice approval software and Procore.
What do you like best about the product?
I find the transaction reporting very useful along with the job cost report with commitment variance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of theinformation fields do not seem to be in line with construction accounting. Updated naming for some fields would be nice.

What do you like best about the product?
We have over 170 entities and used to use QuickBooks; Imagine keeping up with that many passwords! We LOVE the intercompany feature (it saves us so much time) and the fact that we can have all companies under one login. We also love that we can bring our bank feeds in, making bank reconciliations easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, the only feature that I don't care for is the credit card feature. You can't simply import the transactions and book the bill as paid; you have to import, do a charge pay off, "reconcile" the credit card and then pay. Way too many steps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage is helping us save a ton of time. As previously mentioned, we used to use QuickBooks and anytime we had intercompany transactions, we would have to log out of one and into another company to get both sides booked. We do not have to do that anymore so it saves a lot of time and not nearly as much time reconciling accounts.
Innovative and User-Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to connect to multiple other applications through integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Consistency on shortcut usage across all screens. Some do not work on all screens. For instance, the ability to just enter T in a date filled, puts today's date. This doesn't work everywhere and actually doesn't work on the same screen in two different fields on ht void check screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to get my month-end close doen timely and provide accuarte reporting to management
A Nice System to Use
What do you like best about the product?
I've rarely had an issue with Sage Intacct. I do like the ease of use and the ease of training, especially coming from other competitors. I like how easy it is to manage AR.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about Intacct is that it can be slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I haven't had too many problems with Intacct. I do know that the rest of the team expresses frustration with how slow it can be sometimes.
