Senior Accountant
What do you like best about the product?
How it combines all my entities into a single entity

There is so much that that it can do that it is taking me some time to figure everthing out

Combining all of my accounts into one single account

What do you like best about the product?
It's fairly easy to figure out how to navigate/the different modules.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting feature is lacking - I wish there was more ability to change user input/parameters on reports. I often use the Accounts Receivable function and I wish there was a way to link credit memos to their corresponding invoices. Additionally, the option to export invoice detail into Excel would be very helpful, as our invoices often have a lot of data, Having the option to export to Excel would allow us to be able to find errors more easily. The cash application process is also lacking - there should be a way to see all payments that are sitting on a customer account without having to go to the cash application module and search by each individual customer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, layout, format, etc. Not to mention they're always updating and taking user opinions into account.
What do you dislike about the product?
Import error messages could be a little more straight forward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct keeps everything in one place. Their integration capabiliites ensure our other platforms are speaking to eachother. They've thought of everything!
I would say my experience with Sage is pretty good overall.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how user-friendly Sage is. How most things are easy to access. I also enjoy how you can change the menu to what you want so it can suit your needs better.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is an issue I have when syncing from Prastino to Sage some times Pv's get duplicated, i also think that you should be able to change a GL posting date on invoices after posting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the issue of having to enter things multiple times, it creates and saves invoices, this allows us to do it all in the same system even see how much funds are in each bank account.

It takes a little while to understand what to do with dimensions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all entities under one roof. This allows us to consolidate and do entries once that apply to multiple entities.

Purchaser
What do you like best about the product?
As a new user to Sage inputting data is less stressful and easier to edit line items. Once the item is approved and converted into PO electrically, the only stage the purchaser waits for is the product. Once the product is received, adding a packing slip is more manageable than 123:).
What do you dislike about the product?
Like all applications, there's always a little work to be done or missed. Adding a percentage and grant code to individual line items process is more complicated than our previous app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Approver status is less complicated now. Purchasers do not have to rely on one approver. Receiving and editing the PO is much quicker.
User-friendly and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is very user friendly and easy to use. All the applications within Intacct are easy to navigate and use. I particularly like the recurring jounral entry feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lots of improvement to be made to make Intacct accessible for O&G Accounting processes such as maintaining deck ownerships, running JIB and REV processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the help of Sage, our client was able to eliminate the need to docvue approval process and instead maintain it all within Intacct. Further, Sage Intacct is able to handle the processing of large amounts of journal data without freezing or breaking.
Powerful and Always Useful
What do you like best about the product?
I use it for invoice tracking and reconciliation and always works the way I need it to. Never buggy and always consistent.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the UI was a bit more intuitive but it works for what I need it for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Use it to track open invoices and reconcile monthly billing.
Intacct for NFP
What do you like best about the product?
The dimensions and reporting capabilities serve the NFP space better than any of the other softwares out there
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit expensive for smaller organizations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage allows our clients to get really granular detail that allows for more specific grant reporting and tracking
Frustrating
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it catches duplicate bills and that you can see status of bills at a glance from the search screen. I also like that you can view multiple companies at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't fix anything. If you're not 100% accurate with your input, you can't correct check numbers. I don't like that employee expenses are in a completely separate field from bills, even when printing checks. The fact that you can't correct a bill when it's in pending status is ridiculous.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It doesn't really solve anything for me.
