Finance Manager Review
What do you like best about the product?
I find Sage Intacct to be extremely user friendly. I had no experience with the product prior to my current position and I was able to learn the basics within a few days.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found enough free tutorials of the product. Most of the tutorials I found were through YouTube.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For making journal entries and developing financial statements.
Intuitive Accounting Software
What do you like best about the product?
It's more intuitive than other accounting software systems I've used for nonprofits in the past

Lack of proper sorting features when reviewing data

Sage Intacct is easy to use and dynamic enough to meet our business needs
What do you like best about the product?
Simple reports that are easy to create. Modules are easy to use

Can't say there is anything I dislike about the program

Accounting for several different programs and locations. Allocating costs accross the agency

Sage allows data importing, which is helpful for automating some operating processes.

There's some limitations for users within the different modules.

AP automation helps expedite data capturing. The Sage reporting function allows us to summarize and export our data.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sage is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. I appreciate the functions of the A/R capabilities. Sage makes it easy to apply payment to customers and review reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful part of Sage is that you can't process credit card payments as the advance feature. This could be improved if you could process credit cards through the advance feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage isn't solving anything. However, Sage does benefit me as I can create reports for my review and manage daily A/R activities. Business performance has increased.
Excellent Software
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is a very robust software that lets user access from any computer via the web. This makes work so much easier, as I can take care of tasks while away from the office. We are still fine tuning our reporting, but I am confident that once we get it worked out, this will be one of the best softwares available for our industry!
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very customizable, but sometimes that makes it harder when users are not very well versed in software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of only accounting being able to access project financials. With the ability to add view-only users, our department managers can keep a close eye on the health of their projects. It also gives live data, which is helpful.
Organized and better than QB
What do you like best about the product?
I like the project id tags and the ability to create project funding reports. Its customizable. I can easily share these reports with people and i don't need to give them access to Sage.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to create those reports if theres no template readily available. Booking entries in say the GJ module don't flow to the bank reconciliation module. There are some modules that don't talk to each other which affect reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its helping me organize and generate financial information for the organization thats meaningful to the readers. The supporting documents are readily available when I click on the AP, Revenue, or General Journal entry. I can create spend down reports for grants.
Intacct is user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can easily export and import data.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to create reports that continue to work, and the lack of support to help with said reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't know if we have the correct package that solves our problems.
Quality ERP Software that has room for improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Intacct is a great ERP system for order-to-cash business. Overall functionality for receivables is fantastic. Constant updates that are in tune with the community's needs, to some degree.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI is pretty blah and can sometimes be incredibly slow, especially for specific modules, like posted payments. Search / filter functionality has been lacking but it sounds like changes are on the horizon there. I'll always take form over functionality, but I wish there were themes or a dark mode or something. I spend a lot of time in Intacct so seeing the same boring white screens gets old after while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage has solutions for the entire order-to-cash process, so it benefits us across the board on the accounting side as well are billing, collecting, and accounting for cash all within Sage.
Experience has been great and helpful with our accounting procedures

Creating and running reports for analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Building dashboards for analysis isn't as user-friendly.

Intacct is helping us solve accounting for a Software as a Service company.
