What do you like best about the product?
It is a very easy to use program. I find it very user friendly. you can have more then one
What do you dislike about the product?
once things are posted often you cant always edit the Journel entries

it helps us keep track of all bills and its really nice that we can import everything from our billing programs.
Very User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
It's super user-friendly. I came from a place with a completely different system and was able to pick up on Sage Intacct within days of being introduced to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not really anything to dislike about Sage Intacct that I have found yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are continuously acquiring new companies that are easily integrated into Sage Intacct so we have reporting all in one place.
Best software for any business
What do you like best about the product?
One of the standout features of Sage Intacct is its automation capabilities, which save our organization significant amounts of time and reduce the risk of human error. This software can automate tasks such as data entry, account reconciliation, and financial reporting, freeing up staff to focus on more strategic tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software's customization features can be complex and require a steep learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct streamlines the accounting processes. It automates many of our accounting tasks, including data entry, account reconciliation, and financial reporting, saving businesses significant amounts of time and reducing the risk of human error.

The ability to consolidate your Chart of Accounts

Prepaids and Fixed Assets Module look outdated
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving client's problems.
Great for Multi-Entity
What do you like best about the product?
I use Sage for multiple entities, and it's been fantastic not using different programs to reconcile the various companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly appreciate how Sage doesn't automatically make intercompany journal entries, and you must use the accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage is very user friendly and has everything very organized.
Easy to use, strong modules. User friendly procedures, have experienced no downtime.
What do you like best about the product?
The system assisted our shift to a paperless environment through shared access, electronic filing, and electronic approvals of payables. Dashboards and customized reporting are beneficial to agency leaders.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing, and it is small, is the general ledger reporting system, which summarizes transactions at the batch level. There is no easy visibility of the vendors and invoices that make up expenditures. It can be done in other ways, and drill-down capabilities work well, but if we could have vendor detail on general ledger reports of expense accounts, that would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct has increased our capacity for reporting and sharing data internally and externally with our board, finance committee, and funders. In addition, the technology allowed our Organization to adjust to hybrid and remote schedules without losing any functionality. Sage Intacct provides for external users in read-only mode, which assists our audit process. Electronic copies of invoices, bills, receipts, and invoices with support assist in our grant billing process. Our old system did not handle consolidations well and it wasn't easy to obtain reports and data that could be shared.

Can not open multiple dashboards - Have to open Sage all together

Easy to track previous payments

What do you like best about the product?
Happy a user of Sage Intacct for the past year, and the best thing I love about working in Sage is. Customization options available for the financial reports makes my work very easy, and it has reduced my struggles to pull out required data to build information in spreadsheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage Intacct has more plus points than negative to list here, but I would like to highlight that it must provide more options to add on the required dimensions to bring in the reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While posting revenue entries according to the revenue principles becomes challenging, Sage gives us options to choose applicable amortization schedules. At the same time, we created the contracts. Similarly, we came to Prepaid expenses and depreciation postings that made our work significantly simpler to close the books of accounts every month end without much hassles.
Intacct is more indepth for accounting software
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sage Intacct is entirely customizable from the reports and the dashboard. The integration between different software is easy, and there are many options. Some accounting software can limit what external apps and software it can sync with before having to manually export data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Changing entries can be tedious as there is no mass edit for entries. There are some lags and errors in loading information when multiple offices exist in one entity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customizing reports is a bit harder but that fact that you can customize the entire report and move accounts as needed has help greatly.
