Comprehensive and Extensive
What do you like best about the product?
With lots of different features that allow you to maintain your accounting system/books on the whole, I am especially a fan of the newer beta features with respect to vendor lookups and the flexibility it gives you when searching for particular vendors and what accounts their expenses or revenues will hit.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration aspect of it is clunky, unfortunately, and even though we use things like lease query we are not able to have those entries automated due to the nature of the systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the issue of needing an SSAS for keeping the books for an incorporated business that borrows debt from lenders and is required to produce financial statements that are transparent enough to be able to determine the primary business function and generally the activities conducted.

Positives: overall, an excellent accounting platform

What do you dislike about the product?
Negatives: small things that could be changed
- Inability to void payments on a single screen; there is a separate screen to
void EFTs.
- Import success or error messages are no longer presented on the screen but
communicated solely through emails.
- No discernible way to print a list of outstanding items during a bank
reconciliation; it can only be done after the recon is complete.

user friendy, pretty straight foward when it comes to finding where you need to go to do a certain task.

It is straightforward to pull reports such as a general ledger report and have multiple tabs open for the different entities of the company. Way better than Sage 50 which is what we used to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how the bank feeds only come in once a day, and it's from the previous day. It's not a deal breaker, but it would be nice if they could come in during the day

Bank reconciliation is way faster than it used to be. We used to manually do bank reconciliations but the fact that we can make bank rules to automatically post journal entries is very nice

What do you like best about the product?
I like the sage community and how easy it is to look up how to do something.
What do you dislike about the product?
When issues do arise, support is less than helpful. Also, let us edit credit card transactions!

It's easier to allocate expenses between our two companies.
Dynamic user interface functionality with a disappointing reporting base
What do you like best about the product?
Easily allows you to navigate the various menus. User interface easy to pick up on. Allows for minimal training to get started. Felt like an upgrade out of the 90s from the previous accounting software I have used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting functionality is lacking or not very user-friendly to set up. Canned reports not very export friendly for performing detailed analysis. Wish transaction allocations where more dynamic and allow for easier edits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides us a system to store our accounting information to record the performance of the company. It allows for easy import and manual creation of different journal entry types. Helps track our AP payment process while linking to our other systems.
Financial Organization of the Finest Quality
What do you like best about the product?
The ability of sage to pull out reports based on projects is second to none. It made my ability to work with our finance team 100x better.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only complaint would be that sometimes the login doesn't allow a password reset to be sent to the user if they aren't the top level admin.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us a full track on project spending and invoice management.
Accounting in Intacct for almost 10 years & it was one of the best financial decisions my org made.

Cloud-based software & its dimensions allow for deeper access to information.
What do you dislike about the product?
System can feel overwhelming when implementing new modules or processes. You must have an implementation consultant.

Simple salary allocations; project management; grant management
