Navigation Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Overall, the app is exceptional and straightforward. The solid application I found easy to use with little to no assistance. I highly recommend to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe limited on what one can track and enter if you would need a report builder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating an app version to expand on the types of data that can be entered, tracked and building a report from.

What do you like best about the product?
i will leave an honest review. Sage 100 was much easier to navigate
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing is linked. i can make a job in Sage Intacct and add my PO's to it. but when you go to the contract, those PO's dont come over. i have to up load them again. I dont talk to each thing like it should. if i make a job number, and you do a contract using that same job number, everything i put in the job, should just be there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is not benefitting me really.
Very happy we switched to Sage Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sage Intacct is fairly easy to use. One of the things I really like about Intacct is that you can correct entry mistakes by either editing the entry or deleting it entirely.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like least has to do with the Sage Transform Conference. I have signed up for sessions without knowing that they are related to an add-on module that my company does not use. I wish the session descriptions would state if they are related to an add-on module.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that Sage Intacct has the ability to set up recurring journal entries. Once I set those up for the first time, it saves me from having to manually enter them each month. It also helps that you have the ability to enter a reversal date at the time of making an entry.
Not user friendly but gets the job done!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that there are so many options and areas for policies and procedures to be added for each specific company/department so employees know exactly what to do! I also like the variety of products available within the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not user-friendly - hard to get used to and very outdated looking. Not organized in the best way and terminology is hard to understand without getting some sort of training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One place to add expense reports, timesheets, and more! Like that I can get it all done in one platform and have it all connect to one another
Sage is ok, not great, not bad.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability for human resources to see and approve orders quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
A single order with many different items can take over an hour to put in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use sage to order firefighting equipment. It does that but it now takes much longer than in the past.
Logically set up to work with and easy to customize
What do you like best about the product?
The logical setup makes it easy for us to navigate it for day-to-day accounting activities. There's also a lot of customization that is very easy to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
The credit card section of Sage could use some work if you are trying to import the transactions. However, if you are using a third party integration this shouldn't be an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were pulling customizable reports for the managers to make decisions. We had outgrown QuickBooks and needed a higher level of detail than available for us in that system.

I wish there were more filters when selecting bills and for the standard reporting.

We have a lot of companies and its easier to have the TOP level feature and enter vendors etc globally instead of in each company.

Multi-dimensional general ledger has enhanced our ability to report to business units and stakeholders based on their specific needs.

Sage's web host sometimes crashes when running extensive reports and data sets.

Sage has provided us with a dynamic ERP that has allowed us to scale.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use of software. Very user friendly and intuitive for use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Modest restrictions in what the system can do, particularly for month end invoicing activity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing easier and quicker creation of our financial statements, with ease of drilling into variance details.
User friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Sage intact is user friendly and has a lot of features that just make sense for accountants. It has been a great fit for our medium-sized company with our complex accounting and reporting needs. Some of our favorite features include the ability to reclassify items and the wide range of ability to design custom reports to get what we need in a few clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish we could further customize the review chain for specific types of entries. We've built it out with good segregation of duties and review, but we would hope for a little more flexibility to match our specific processes and review chain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use accounts receivable modules, accounting, reporting modules, bank reconciliations, and are exploring the contracts module for potential use. It has certainly sped up our journal entry preparation time because importing journal entries is quick and the journal support is saved in the system as well.
