flexible, easy to learn, intuitive yet with good controls

ease of learning, and flexiblity to grow as your organization grows

Easy to navigate, plenty of learning material

Sage is easy to learn and navigate. Plenty of learning material if you get lost.
What do you dislike about the product?
The modules that do not talk to each other to check for duplicates

The cloud base accounting. It has made my sometimes remote working so accessible.

The cost can be high for small non-profits. Support when trouble shooting can be delayed at times.

Sage Intacct the cloud base accounting solution
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful feature of Sage is that it is cloud based. It make processing financials transaction timely and effcient. Other desktops accounting software are slow and can experience difficulties during server/network maintenance. Sage Intacct avoids all that by being cloud based.
What do you dislike about the product?
The gree numbers on the reporting instead of the blue color. This change is hard on the eyes and impacted alot of our preestablished SOPS for users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage makes consolidations and inter company transactions easy, I dont even have to think about it. The easy of switching between the mult entities without logging in and out is such a time saver.
Comparison to other Accounting Softwares
What do you like best about the product?
How user friendly it is compared to popular accounting softwares such as Microsoft Dynamics and SAP Hanna
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much but having the ability to move the system generated journal entries and bank rec entries to other journal entry folders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are in the process of implementing the AP Automation. This will save the redundant tasks of our part time AP clerk and give her some breathing room to work on more meaningful projects.
Platform is very user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly. There are modules that have solutions for practially all facets of accounting. Cash reconciliation can be troublesome for many companies but the adaptiablity of SAGE makes that much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Report building could be less cumbersome. There are standard reports to be customized, but sometimes adapting those reports to what is needed are more difficult than it should be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SAGE is solving automating the cash reconciliation process. This automation will save a lot of time that can be focused on other tasks.
Sage Intacct just works.
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is easy to use. And is very flexible to meet specific industry and company needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because everything is integrated, a seemingly easy tweak in one area can be complicated because one has to consider how that tweak affects other areas.

Automation in different areas, such as bank feeds, AP, etc.
Sage Intacct for Powerful Accounting
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is a super powerful accounting software that you can do almost anything with, they have lots of add on applications and software that allows you to complete the most complicated of tasks. I learn new tricks and short cuts every day, and Sage is constantly adding new and helpful features
What do you dislike about the product?
Very specific, but I'd like to be able to do more operations in reporting variables. Right now I can only do 1 at a time so if I want to add 2 separate calculations (say add 2 variables and then multiply by 100), I would have to create 2 different variables.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's integration with other softwares really adds the value to save me a lot of time with my accounting work.
Ease of transacting business with one source of truth
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many API options available to connect with our other systems that we use for payroll, operational field work, and data analytics! It is designed to be administered by accountants, for accountants.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the guiderails in place make it not as customizable as other marketplace options for ERPs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having real-time data for our teams to access on a more frequent basis has allowed us to make better decisions on the fly! We have also been able to shorten our close time window by over 3 days compared to our legacy ERP system.
