Great Product - User-friendly and Customizable!

User friendly, customizable, easy integrations

Sometimes support is unable to quickly help with third-party integration issues or features that have been customized
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Sage Intacct, we have solved problems with consolidating financials between entities, automated reporting, and have created dashboards to review KPI's quickly.

platform is well organized and back end set-ups are straightforward. The platform is not cumbersome and has very organized controls that make sense. The reporting is well thought out and predicts business needs
What do you dislike about the product?
Other platforms have more detailed activity logs that list out data in a helpful way. For example, a GL log that doesn't include subtotals for accounts and can is filterable by each field shown- date, GL account, post date, reference date, details, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helped us solve control processes for Accounts payable. We have also taken advantage of the import tool for Journal entries. The fixed asset add on has been helpful as well

Great product for those creating accounting processes from the ground up due to built-in controls that steer your processes
Great Financial Management
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct has a good framework; I especially like the customization of the reports. It also integrates well with other software. The fact that it's cloud-based is a big win for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if the layout could be customized. Other than that I really can't think of anything at the moment to add.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to drill down to GL and sub-ledger data with no problem, which is great.

What do you like best about the product?
Consolidated reporting. Real-time reporting. Multi-layered categorization of revenue and expenses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Make sure you have a solid team in place to handle the daily workload, including a cash management person, an AP person, and an AR person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing the time to produce consolidated reporting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use an implementation partner. Don't think you can take on this project internally, especially if you have a small team.
Great Accounting System
What do you like best about the product?
We implemented Intacct a couple of years ago and it's been a game-changer for our team. We use it as an accounting system and it's been quite helpful in managing different entities within the organization.

What do you dislike about the product?
What I would say needs improvement on Intacct is the register report which takes a long time to run when you pull old data. Also during bank reconciliations, it required a really strong internet connection because it would stop and you would have to wait for some time until the tab was open.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Sage Intacct in our accounting department where we record all our activities, transactions, expenses, which help us prepare the books of accounting. In addition to that, Intacct has been very helpful in pulling financial reporting for different entities.

Very easy to use accounting software!

What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct seamlessly integrates with our Sales Software (ConnectWise). The import easy templates make entry from Excel for long monthly Journal Entries easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning the custom Graph functions has been very difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Presentations are a snap with the ability to set up a dashboard with all the reports needed. Pull up the Dashboard and move through all the things we used to have to put into a Slide Show.
Great product
What do you like best about the product?
The integration with different partners and products and easy navigation between applications. Very easy way to display information in reports, scorecards, and graphs!
What do you dislike about the product?
Great system, not a lot of things I dislike. Possibly the ability to lock columns in a report. Not able to emulate a user to see what they have available for them, information and persmission wise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have seen a complete transformation in our department by having real-time information available for our managers, directors, and board members. Closing time and automation have improved tremendously.

Great product, great support, always looking to give customers what they're asking for.

Sage Intacct allows us to be more uniform as a company.
Good product, needs updates
What do you like best about the product?
The adaptability for this to be able to handle our set of needs. It also has good synching capabilities with other software. Also being able to handle both our accounting and project management services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the tools that someone can utilize are hard to figure out at first. There is not an excellent support setup to quickly help with specific problems. It would be nice to have a quick chat or email support feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They help keep track of our whole set of accounts, as well as with our project services side. The ability to integrate our accounting with project management is beneficial.
