What do you like best about the product?
Custom reporting and having everything in one place
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to create support tickets slows down the process, but it is understandable why they are needed. Being able to report on STAT account books separately would be very beneficial to our business
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to solve overall company financial questions via the custom report writer. We have eliminated the use of manual spreadsheets for reporting purposes for the most part

Leave bucket structure and TImesheet options are very good.

Dashboard Information need to show relevant operations that we are doing

The versatility of tools combined with the user friendly interface make Intacct a great software.

Ease of creating custom reports as well as excellent customer service for when you have questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't any features that I genuinely dislike. I suppose they could implement a more easily accessible knowledge base for frequently asked questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of connecting to other third-party applications allows for greater automation.
Sage Intacct makes posting and keeping track of business activity fairly easy.
What do you like best about the product?
It connects well with other softwares, making it easy to have all information in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no straightforward way to view the attachments associated with bills and invoices without clicking on the transactions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us see the real-time activity and account balances, making it possible to have monthly financial reports.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try to get everything implemented correctly the first time around, even if it takes a little more time/effort/correspondence. It's a nightmare to edit the configuration later due to the workflow not being set up accurately.

Isolation of financials through specific departments, locations, regions, and projects. Real time reporting updates and dashboards for C-level personnel.

I dislike not being able to apply attachments to imported journal entries.

Problems- lack of being able to filter through entries/data

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to set up the approval process and to create reports
What do you dislike about the product?
1) Cost effectiveness. Very expensive and time consuming to set it up, and annual fees after that keep increasing.
2) Updates sometimes bring good new features, but sometimes shock up by changing/aborting functions that were once available, w/o prior notice. We only learn the implications of those to our specific case after the fact, and at least one of them has killed the feature we had painstakingly custom built. We also spent a lot of time only to learn that we could not get that feature back. This is why we wonder if we are getting what we pay for the system sometimes.
3) Restriction placed on the customer's end that you are basically stuck with the company you first set up the Intacct with, and it seems impossible to switch to another firm or communicate with Intacct directly, even if the "dealership" company's performance has fallen short.

Being able to customize dimensions is very helpful.

Excellent User-friendly Product
What do you like best about the product?
Navigating through the menus is simple and easy to find what I'm looking for. I can easily make updates and changes as needed or set up automatic processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration with bill.com is sometimes lacking. When a bill or payment syncs into Intacct from bill.com, the amount of information shown is disappointing.

We have been able to complete month-end closes efficiently and standardize several processes using Intacct.
