Sage Intacct is amazing!
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing is the how user friendly it is. I can easily navigate to all modules.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing that comes to mind, is when applying charge payoff's, it would be helpful to be able to sort the credit card transactions by date and to also be able to see the selected amount without having to scroll all the way to the bottom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to give access to all of our departments to be able to view their budgets and the transactions. This has been instrumental for our accounting team as well as our leadership.
A Giant Leap for our Organization
What do you like best about the product?
We have had great success with Intacct. We converted from Blackbaud Fundware, which was very manual processes, with little integration. Even something as simple as a data export to Excel was a chore, where as the same process is easy in Intacct. We are basically still using the core product, and have yet to integrate with other applications, but it has drastically changed the way we do business. Another benefit is the way it empowers users/budget owners.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few areas that could use improvement, but that is going to be the case anywhere. A lot of this is based on your setup, so implementation partner is key! One example is we can edit account coding for a receipt after the deposit has been made, if we record that receipt directly to the bank account, versus an undeposited funds account. The benefit to undeposited funds, is you can then group all the receipts to match the one bank deposit. When doing it this way, you cannot edit the receipt after the fact.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have much more transparency across the organization. The fact that people in all offices have access to the GL is a huge step forward. We have so much less data entry time and mistakes. One reason for this is because in AP, the requesting department enters their transaction directly into the system, versus completing a requisition type form in word or pdf and then printing, just to have an AP clerk re-enter that information into the system, which is susceptible to error.
A REAL accounting platform
What do you like best about the product?
This cloud based accounting platform comes with all of the tools necessary to perform complex accounting and financial reporting functions needed for any business that's serious about information to be successful. Specifically, we like the multi-dimension accounting, multi-entity and global consolidations, multi-currency, dashboards, subledgers, any much much more!
What do you dislike about the product?
Implementation is not automatic. It takes time, skill and a lot of buy in from stakeholders. The import error notification process could definitely use better plain English explanations since they do not include what I'd consider accurate descriptions. It takes a lot of practice to learn what the error notifications mean (and I'm still working on it).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intacct has bridged the gap between being an excellent accountant and our clients recognizing how valuable an excellent accountant can be. We also used to suffer from slow systems because of the volume of transactions. Those transactions were causing systems to crash, or would take 5 minutes to save an update to a report. Intacct has resolved a lot of those problems for us and we have yet to have a slow down in processing.

Take your accounting to the next level by integrating with more systems, gaining power in flexibility in reporting, and providing real time information to your users.
Big Upgrade from QuickBooks
What do you like best about the product?
As a company with 100 hundreds of different entities, the ability to use our "top Level" approach to input invoices and make payments has saved us a lot of time compared to Quickbooks
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike much about Sage. One thing that i dislike is the layout of the general ledger report creating. I feel like it is not as user friendly at first and they could upgrade it to make it easier
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits include saving time paying bills, inputting invoices, bank reconciliations. Also, we were able to solve the problems regarding switching in and out of clinics in quick books, which waste a lot of time.

Some of the error descriptions are not very helpful so it's difficult to determine what has actually gone wrong

We are solving the transparency in financial reporting across a multiple entity enterprise. It is so simple to show the intracompany activity and the relationships between industry functions across the entire enterprise

What do you like best about the product?
The Depreciation feature is a plus and it deserves to be highlighted, it does a great job of performing depreciation and reconciliation tasks automatically, greatly helping our work on our monthly, half-yearly and annual financial closings and spares manual labor. of our employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main negative point I found during my experience with Sage Intacct was in the generation of some of the reports that are available, there are missing features, we had some problems because of this and to get around this we had to export the report to make manual modifications and finally having them in the format we wanted, in my opinion a waste of time that Sage Intacct could help to avoid
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From the first day Sage Intacct started being used in our company, it has helped raise our company's financial knowledge to a higher level than we used to have. Sage Itacct is used in all our accounting, cash management, accounts payable, bank reconciliations and more. Thanks to Sage Intacct, we are now more effective at controlling budgets thanks to the real-time reporting that the tool offers.

Sage Intacct is a good solution for growing companies looking to improve their accounting industry, the tool has efficiency and a good support team willing to help, particularly suitable for companies with multiple bases and branches as Sage Intacct works very well with Multi-Entity.
The Integration Software Leader
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful aspect of Sage Intacct is its integration capability and functionality. It has helped us to automate accounts payable and streamline our workflows. The products releases quarterly updates and focuses those updates on it's customer's needs. The Sage Intacct Community a nd knowledge base are excellent resources based on user experience and internal support respectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software tries to do a lot and be everything to everyone. That is not possible, but the innovation efforts are there and you have to appreciate that. As the Regulatory Compliance professional in our office, I find that Sage Intacct could do a much better job keeping pace with changing IRS regulations as it related to information returns and the documents needed to support that effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We went paperless and automated Accounts Payable. Next we are going to integrate an expense reporting and corporate credit card solution. We hope to use a software that integrate directly with Sage Intacct, however we are also keen on the idea that an API could be used for integration purposes as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Choose your 3rd party consultant wisely. Sage Intacct prefers you not change partners once you have implemented the product. Know your wants and pain points. Allow ample time for the implementation as training from Intacct is primarily videos unless you pay more for individual instruction.

What do you like best about the product?
A very interesting feature of Sage Intacct is its "Project-oriented expenses" feature, which allows us to view project-based expenses and break them down according to your department, so we can determine the extent of impact even more precisely. the project will bring to your department.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be interesting to introduce a support chat option. I have never had problems with Sage Intacct support, my issues were resolved in a fairly good time, but I believe introducing a direct support chat would make it even easier things.

Sage Intacct has been implemented in our company to strengthen and improve our financial and accounting industry that we use in all financial movements. Payments to suppliers and cash receipts have become much easier to perform thanks to Sage Intacct. Sage Intacct is a very good option for a company's accounting sectors. If you are looking to improve a company's financial sector and have better control over financial transactions, Sage Intacct will serve you well if your company has branches and works with currencies. different then it becomes amazing since its multi-entity function is one of its strong points.

I loved having an account rep like Kirby that when I was getting frustrated with the product, could reach out to for support and to help push things along. I really felt well taken care of as a customer.

What do you dislike about the product?
I definitely poked some holes in the API and found the documentation for it extremely confusing. I also had a bit of trouble with support wasting my time giving me Google searchable answers when I had a much higher degree of technicality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intacct allows us that multi dimensional book keeping across multiple entities with ease. This gave us an anchor point for our business management and project management platform to integrate cohesive billing and customer management.

Although it's a fairly tedious integration process, once you're setup it's an absolutely wonderful platform to be in.
