What do you like best about the product?
It is a very educational and engaging conference. This conference is able to let me learn lots of different new functions of Sage Intacct and what we can expect to see in Sage Intacct in the coming future. Lots of different sessions and great speaker such as business leadership, CFO summit, hands-on-training. I can mix and match tracks to learn new skills and stay competitive. Really awesome conference I never been
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much I dislike. Just for the hands-on-training, it is little bit short and finish too fast
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AP side. Using new Sage Intacct 'Pay Bills' function can make us process the bill payments faster than before. It's easy to use and very powerful function for AP

What do you like best about the product?
Sleek look and feel. They recently updated the look and feel and it looks a lot better than before.
What do you dislike about the product?
When looking at customers clicking on the Account name is different than clicking on the View link. Hard for me to find everything that I am looking for without doing multiple searches.
Support is hard to get with what we are using.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Invoicing customers.

Make sure you test everything out you need before purchasing.

What do you like best about the product?
- Ease of use for multi entity; automatic due to/from processes
- Continuous updates and process improvements
- That they listen to user requests and suggestions when making their updates
- Ability to import / export data quickly
- Customization of employee access
- Automation of processes
- Ability to attached backup of multiple formats within the software
- Cloud based
- Overall ease of use
What do you dislike about the product?
- Integrated help functions are basic in their application. Have to go to separate location to get detailed assistance.
- Error messages are not always detailed enough, though I have seen improvements over time
- Custom report builder is very robust, but that can also make it cumbersome and lengthy to build
- Would like more customization in default screen views
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most significant benefit to us has been the ease of use for multi entity. We previously we doing duplicate work to record in each company's accounting records, with Sage Intacct we can streamline the process and record once with the automatic generation of due to/from balances.

Also love that it works equally well for multiple types of business; lodging, F&B, retail and recreation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A great option to evaluate. Take your time with implementation and get it right up front. Easy to navigate once you are in the system, but there are a few things I would go back and do differently with initial set up.

A thought of a good accounting system

What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is an easy to use platform accounting system and love that supporting documents can be attached to each transaction. The system has a great ability of creating customized financial reports based on the organization needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Sage Intacct improves the accounts payables and accounts receivable modules. These two are an essential part of the system. For instance, when you see the list of bills, one must click in that bill to see if it was paid or not and what method of payment was applied. Also, once a bill is entered and approved, one can not edit the department or class, you need to jump into another module of accounts payable to do this. The accounts receivable looks a bit old and new design would do a huge improvement to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company is a mid-size organization and it continues to growth and as we growth to acquire more business; Sage Intacct gives our company piece of mind that we can growth and have our accounting department growth at the same time without interruption to the current system we have in place. This is a big deal because if you start out with a system like Quickbooks per se, as you business grows, you soon realize that is not fit for larger organization and that may have a rough time figuring out another system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sage Intacct is a very good for financial reporting and the accoutering department. I love that the system is easy to use online and that it keeps updating on a regular basis.

The current upgrade to the new interface has had more than a few issues, with some functions not working or available for a few hours/days.

What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to learn and it's easy to navigate. There is help available if you need it. The reporting functions are great at summarizing information and evaluating data. It meets all of our accounting needs without a struggle. Constant updates are being made to improve performance. We are able to log concerns when we are struggling with something and they respond very quickly. The system always responds the way you expect it to. Sage rarely goes down or has IT/communication issues. Other software we have goes down all the time. So Sage doesn't cost us expensive downtime.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I can't find what I am looking for in the help section. Occasionally the help section will send you around and around and does not really anwser your question.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage helps me get my work done in a timely fashion. It has allowed me to use reports to stay on top of my job and check for errors. I can respond to supervisory or departmental question quickly by using Sage.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It has so many different modules that it could work well for almost any type of business.

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is not complex whatsoever, making it easy to navigate around.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts of it are still in the old interface. Selecting credits when it comes to paying bills takes a lot of clicking. If credits are in one entry, you still have to manually select those credits when it comes to paying bills.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct allows us to clearly see what bills we have paid in the past and allows us to see the patterns.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The interface is really nice, and things are easy to find or figure out.

Excellent Service, Wonderful Streamlined System

What do you like best about the product?
It's user-friendly. The help provided by the service is excellent. If you can't help it there, the Sage Intacct Community is extremely helpful, and basically can solve any issue you might encounter.
It was extremely easy to move all of our data over from our old system. Sage Intacct provides you with your own personal liazon to help make this difficult and daunting process rather easy and stress-free (relatively speaking of course!)
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is significant. If you're not a large enough, you're probably better off finding something cheaper. QuickBooks is able to provide a fair amount of what Sage Intacct provides, at a fraction of the price.
I'm not keen on the fact that if you're switching licenses between users, you don't even get a second of overlap while training new staff. You need to delete the old employees info before you can add a new one. This can problematic if the employee who's exiting is training the new employee.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No real problems at the moment!
Many benefits have been realized- the best one is the amount of time that both me (controller) and my staff accountant have saved per month while doing our month-end close.
