Controller
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love that is captures data in real time and the dashboards are priceless.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much just wish the new reporting function was not an additional cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Electronica approvals of on our invoices and dashboards/reporting available to our Business Units without creating/emailing to all the various parties.
Intuitive & User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that it is easy to navigate through the system. I also like the new collaborate feature to communicate within Intacct.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smart Events and Smart Rules work, but are very clunky to code. This needs an easy-to-understand user interface
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use dashboards to easily articulate financials to non-accountants.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is very easy to use and does just about anything you want it to do. Great for small-medium sized business.

What do you like best about the product?
The dimension functionality and the ability to integrate with many different applications
What do you dislike about the product?
Ability to run ad hoc reports with multiple selection vs range or just one without creating a grouping. or to be able to select null
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily able to run consolidated financial statements. Automatic inter company transactions

What do you like best about the product?
The integration between Salesforce & Intacct allows my co-workers to see important pieces of the customer story like invoice status. The use of Contracts allows us to automate our monthly contracts, and allows for changes to be made directly from Salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like the user interface uses wording that can be hard to understand for less technical people. Setting up the automation take a long time & sometimes doesn't work the way we need it to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of hundreds of renewing contracts. The import functionality is really useful for importing employee expenses, credit card transactions, and JEs.
New to Sage Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Sage Intacct is the consolidation piece which can be done in matter of seconds rather than manually for multi-entity companies like ourselves.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being a new Sage Intacct user, I have not come across any downside just yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct has definitely saved us a lot of time and increased our efficiency in getting our work done effortlessly.
Great software that allows you to imagine endless possibilities
What do you like best about the product?
It has an open API framework that allows the system to interact with any platform or software service. The people and relationships that I have formed with Sage Intacct Employees are very unique and set this brand apart from others.
What do you dislike about the product?
The canned reporting that the system comes with is not dynamic enough. However, intacct's report customization allows you to create any type of financial report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are streamlining our workflows and processes, increasing controls, reducing time spent on manual tasks. Ultimately, we are working to automate the back office.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you build a roadmap for your technology. Take time to understand your organization and what you would like to achieve. The capabilities within intacct are endless. Make sure you work with your teams and include their feedback.

Ease of use and access to documents. Ability to establish an audit trail.

Difficult to see all sides of a journal entry

What do you like best about the product?
My company loves the flexibility with the dashboards and on the fly reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are a large company and with Intacct being more geared towards mid tier companies some of our journal entry uploads timeout because of the bandwith required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has given us ability when auditors show up to be able to easily pull up backup for them via the attachment feature.
Multi-Entity Use of Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct makes consolidation and creating consolidated financials much more efficient and allows for increased accuracy and frees up time for more in-depth review. This feature also eliminates the frustration and error prone method of manual consolidations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting can be cumbersome, and at times changes in the system made in different areas causes reports to either exclude necessary items or include items not wanted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of timely reporting on a consolidated and by-entity basis.
Great Solution for the Right Size Business
What do you like best about the product?
Multi-entity solution is great for diverse group of small entities
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a pricey solution for small startup but definitely something you want to grow into
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to consolidate 7 QBO files into 1 application and institute push-button consolidations
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you learn as much as you can about the product before you do the implementation. In our case, we put way too much of the configuration at the top level and now that other entities are starting to use additional functionality, we can't "hide" the company specific things like we should be able to do.
