What do you like best about the product?
The program is extremely easy to use. The interface is easy to navigate, reports can be generated into various formats with just a button click. Moving from A/R to A/P to Journals to Cash Management is quick with the side toolbar, and assigning favorites helps me find what I'm looking for since I don't utilize a lot of the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the nice interface comes some updates that slow me down or take time to learn. There isn't much I dislike about Sage Intacct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've realized I can duplicate entries and set-up recurring journal entries to make month end closing faster.

Effective and Efficient

What do you like best about the product?
I love the purchasing workflows. It makes purchasing approvals easy and seamless. No chasing down people to approve, They can do it from home if they aren't in the office.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that setting up the various levels of purchasing approvals is cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting rid of paper! The cloud has allowed us to be more efficient as we are able to work from anywhere.

Awesome product - great integrations

What do you like best about the product?
They have a great community and the software itself is very robust. We are still in process of exploring all the possibilities of the software, but so far it has been great and we can't wait to further expand on our product environment to reap the benefits of all its capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the support could be a little better. A lot of our questions get rerouted and sometimes it is hard to get a good response for our asks. I think more robust online training would make things easier for a first time user as well. We paid for a class, which helped a lot, but if there was this availability online or to have them send trainers out to our office to train us in real time, sometimes that is helpful too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are currently figuring out what integrations make sense and are actively working on a few more. One of my biggest takeaways from the classes was the importance of setting up the dimensions and departments correctly as that will make or break reporting. We're trying to figure out how to fix that in our existing environment.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take your time to implement, there is no need to rush. It takes a lot of time to determine how you should set up your environment (dimensions, departments, GL accounts) to make sure that when you are creating reports, you can pull in the right data and have peace of mind that it is sound data.

What do you like best about the product?
The best things about Intacct are its ability to grow with our company as it grows. We intentionally picked a software that was a big above what we currently needed so it could grow with us. It is very apparent Intacct will grow with us. The cloud based aspect is very helpful as well. Being able to access the system anywhere in the world was an important feature we needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our experience with the support team has been less than optimal. From our initial go live, it took over one year to get a specific problem fixed that did not allow us to complete a credit card reconciliation. Now we have to pour thorough over a year's worth of data to reconcile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are still in the learning curve of the process as we have transitioned. The reporting features will be a huge step forward for us once we have a better understanding.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the training opportunities available to you to understand your transaction definitions, understand reporting, and understand where to find the details of your transaction.

What do you like best about the product?
Intercompany journals - these are a life saver when we have centralized management of certain functions (payroll for example)
LOAD FILES - a life saver over manual UI transactions
What do you dislike about the product?
Balancing the Interco - looking to just have the system automatically balance for me (no journal required)
Fixed Assets are challenging to create a dep/amort forecast
Reporting is good, but can be challenging to understand and sometimes making alterations to reports don't save - the error messages are confusing (column width issues?)

Purchasing approvals - helps with cash management

Easy to Use

What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct has a lot of reporting capabilities. It allows us to integrate with other business applications that our company uses.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to find a way to link multiple data sets. It would be helpful if there was a list of items in each data set.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct allows us to organize all of our expenses and shows us trends on our overall spend.

What do you like best about the product?
Contracts module is a great tool for managing contracts for recurring billing and revenue recognition. Report writer is strong and provides many ways to create financial and other operational reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the placement of tasks in different modules is clunky like cash management vs AR and AP.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recurring billing, contract renewals, adoption of ASC 606 revenue recognition. Financial reporting for external stakeholders has improved dramatically.

Great Accounting Software

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create custom reports in Intacct is the best feature. Consolidations are relatively easy, especially coming from Quickbooks Online where there is no way to do consolidations inside of the software. We have a great account manager who is very helpful with any issues that we have run into. The ability to create custom dashboards for the different types of users is also useful. It integrates with multiple programs that we use, including our bill pay system and employee expense report system,
What do you dislike about the product?
With custom reports, if you create a new GL account, you have to add that account group to every individual report you want it to show up in depending on how you created the report. The software is also relatively expensive compared to other software. We also ran into some issues during our implementation, but that could have because of inexperience on the project managers side. Our account manager was also helpful in finding a solution in those situations. We also were not able to create invoices how we wanted because they could not add certain custom fields to the invoices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to have much better reporting than before. We are also able to store more information related to our customers thanks to the ability to add custom fields to pretty much anything in Intacct. It saves time when creating our board reports and month end close has flowed and become much easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Intacct is great for reporting so if that is important to your company this could be a great software for you. It does take time to get use to how to create the reports, but they do have a week long training course that is very helpful in how to create the reports.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the PO module, it allows the manager to track the budget and see where they are at all times.
What do you dislike about the product?
International payments is still a work in progress,we deal with alot of currency and have had challenges getting the setup to process successfully.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We switch to a PO system to allow the managers to better manage their budgets and have more control .

It is a good software, very user friendly.
