Sage Intacct is Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
With minimum training, time and expense users are able to quickly enter time to projects and code their expense reports without a lot of errors, but any necessary changes are easy to make by a business user.
What do you dislike about the product?
I actually haven't run across any downsides at this point. We have been on the system for about one year so we are still learning and evolving with the systems capabilities. It is a lot of information to absorb at the beginning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are getting close to having all of our historic data as well as the first year's actuals in and will be reporting off of the data for project profitability by products and several other dimensions.
Sage for a year, and impressive so far!
What do you like best about the product?
We have really been impressed with the ease of entering and extracting information, and the opportunity to make it as easy or as complex as needed
What do you dislike about the product?
Every now and then a quarterly update will 'throw off' something that I liked, but all systems have updates and this is insignificant to how some are run!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We started six new systems at the same time in a brand new company, so ease solved one of the problems, and the data immediately creates trends from the history
Recommendations to others considering the product:
much better than quickbooks
Very user friendly, lots of functionality, seems challenging to implement some customizations

I like that it is cloud based and I like the UI. I also like that the reporting seems to be able to pull from multiple linked records.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inventory management is lacking in some respects

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Whichever system you plan on implementing, make sure you implement it correctly. Many companies don't considering all processes/modules/customizations and have to switch later on due to bad implementations.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity to run reports. The custom report righter is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't bring in images from Bill.com. Limited storage.

Have streamlined the monthly close process.

Do your homework. Make sure have a plan on how to implement every part.

Having the ability to create so many custom reports.

Building the custom reports are not particularly intuitive.

Ability to produce a wide range of reports for clients very easily

What do you like best about the product?
It is very user friendly and modern. Very easy for new employees to learn. Love the dashboards and the reporting. Love the integration of the charge cards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to use allocation tables within the charge card screen.

It has been a time saver.

Financial management system with great customer support
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is a useful source of integrated financial reporting data. It is very well-regarded in the industry and has AICPA accreditation, which is exceptional. It delivers a high level of automation around billing and reporting and I have found that clients who use it (I am a business accountant) maintain a high level of compliance with external and internal auditing. Sage also excels in customer service and support for its products.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage Intacct has few drawbacks as a cloud-based management system. There is room for improvement around its handling of multiple entities and currencies for international firms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage solves the problem of integration of managing and reporting features on a cloud-based system. It helps to reduce financial errors and keep the business ready for auditing.
Fast-Track Implemented...and Happy So Far!
What do you like best about the product?
The implementation process took place a few months ago and went very well. We were assigned a highly competent and collaborative implementation consultant that got us up and running in about 3 months.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is still a little outdated in some areas (but Sage is working on updating the UI consistently throughout the program). Some interactions with the system are not as intuitive as they should be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were previously on QuickBooks Online, so the problem we had was that the system was not robust enough to utilize the data in meaningful ways. We have benefited from the robust nature of the platform and are learning about more and more features every week.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Stay on top of your implementation process and validate all data being ported over from your previous ERP.

What do you like best about the product?
Sage has been easy to use to add and inactive employees into the system which interface with the payroll side very easy, you can easily trace the audit trails what the use have done on the system, its not complicated as it is easy to train users on the system. Reports can be printed very easy and are real times even the tax tables are updated on the annual basis as per MEC of Finance gazetted.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its customization of the system might be not promoting the paperless system as the organisation, we are trying to promote such to save trees to improve the environment, the sage system didn't able to integrate with our financial system seamless which our accountant required to perform manual integration in other run our budget against the payroll which was quite challenging for the organisation but Sage customer service were very pro-active to assist with the challenge how ever it was quite complex but worked temporary but still was not fixed 100% therefor the Sage intacct was upgrade to Sage 300 people

Sage work very well for the institution and i recommend other companies to utilize it services and provide you with real time information especial for payroll.

What do you like best about the product?
Intacct is the best cloud based accounting system I've used as an accountant. It's reporting features, user permissions, and breadth of modules gives either a staff accountant or an external accountant the power to really dive into the books.
What do you dislike about the product?
For clients who don't need a robust an accounting system, Sage Intacct can be overwhelming or counter productive to use. Although it can do some heavy lifting and provide a lot of internal detail, smaller businesses and organizations may not need everything it offers and could find a more lightweight and less expensive solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can now share detailed accounting systems with clients who may have a staff accountant on site but need either controller or CFO services from our accounting firm. With the complexity of some of their systems, sharing a Quickbooks file or trying to run their finances in QBO just isn't feasible. Sage Intacct lets us manage their accounting while letting them handle the day to day input.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take advantage of their in person and on demand training opportunities. There's a lot to work with in Intacct and their trainers are excellent at taking you through the basics and advanced features.
