Sage Intacct is sophisticated and ideal for growing businesses
What do you like best about the product?
I highlight Sage Intacct's ability to extract and report detailed financial information very quickly, so we have the ability to support actions and operations in a much more efficient and agile manner, thus saving the time it takes to get answers. about our information and financial movements.
What do you dislike about the product?
A place is missing where notes about a particular vendor or employee can be kept and stored. Should there be a comment guide or some way to make special notes that could be dated, this would greatly help in future operations where those comments were already saved to help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Looking for a tool that could help the accounting industry in our financial management and administration was chosen sage intacct after research it was what seemed to best fit what we were looking for. With it we managed to elevate the organization of information and our financial data. to another level, much more complete in information and making things much clearer for our financial sector decision-making. The time-consuming reporting time Intacct provided us was also of great use to our company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For growing companies (which was exactly our case) I believe sage intacct is a great option, it has the "right measure" after the company exceeds the capacity of quickbooks, and its costs are much lower compared to others. Larger platforms.
Intacct has provide instant accessibility to financial data.
What do you like best about the product?
The abundance of integrations that is available to sync with Intacct.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to a self-taught platform, the learning center and also the community center could provide more scenarios to troubleshoot. This applies especially to error code, it could be improve to be more clear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ASC 606 is solving billing schedule different from the revenue schedule.

It's a self-taught software and very intuitive.

There are some nuances in the database architecture that I'd do differently but certainly aren't game-changers

Instant consolidations, real-time access to data, easy integration of acquisitions

Solid system that is easily scalable and integrates with nearly any 3rd party system
Well integrated software with growth capacity
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's cloud based, that multiple systems integrate, and that the use is intuitive. The dashboards and employee users allow business owners to view and use their data for decision making at any point in the month. Integration with multiple vendors in the marketplace allow us to plug and play with systems that work for our organization and use the best in class products available.
What do you dislike about the product?
The report writer is cumbersome to update. The new custom report writer sounds great once budget is available in the module.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Growth and scalability, benefits are access anywhere, integrations with other systems and hours saved. We use Intacct for 3 different entities and they are are able to scale for growth well with the system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at the entire marketplace of vendors and products that work with Intacct. We use quite a few systems that integrate seemlessly with Intacct. This gives our finance department the ability to plug and play different systems that meet our specific needs.
Intacct works very well
What do you like best about the product?
System is user friendly, dashboard capabilities are excellent, help feature in the system is excellent and makes it easy to troubleshoot and fix errors without having to reach out to a 3rd party.
What do you dislike about the product?
Custom reporting is not intuitive and time consuming. Customer support directly from the vendor could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My organization switched from a legacy accounting system to Intacct. I have to say that the migration was more than painful- but all that pain was worth it! The system is awesome! The help feature alone in the system was worth the migration- it was impossible to figure things out on your own in our legacy system- required us to go to consultants when we had issues in processing. Intacct makes it very easy to troubleshoot and figure a lot of your processing issues out on your own. The Dashboards in the system are awesome as well! I am certain that there are more great things to come with this system given we have only been using it 6 months and have not fully explored the potential of the system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand that there are not many sources for help outside of the Intacct Community. I recommend hiring a consultant to bring you up to speed on the software so that you do not make irreversible mistakes.
Sage Intacct Is A Great Product!
What do you like best about the product?
What I enjoyed best about Sage Intacct is how intuitive it is. I am able to get users fully trained and using the system quickly no matter how little experience they have with accounting software. I have used many accounting softwares and Sage Intacct is by far the easiest system to use and train on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't find any one item that I dislike about the software. Sage Intacct continues to improve and add features, which allows us to continue to grow with the software as the company grows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intaact allows us to be cloud based and work from anywhere we have internet access. It has streamlined our accounts receivables, account payables, and financial reporting at both a subsidiary level and a parent level.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sage Intacct has been a wonderful accounting tool for our company. From the ease of implementation and going live to the every day use and how intuitive the software is, you will not be disappointed in choosing it. We have also been freed up from requiring IT support on the software since Sage manages all updates and that has been a huge benefit to us to allow our company to focus our resources in other areas.
Quick Intacct Review
What do you like best about the product?
One of the main reasons Intacct was chosen over other options was because of its abilty to be customized more than others systems. Having more customization allowed it to work better for us as opposed to having a cookie cutter system.
What do you dislike about the product?
With customization always comes unique problems. We usually had issues setting up customized features and would need to open tickets and/or walk through with support to get it resolved. However, that was a pleasant process and they spent lots of time solving our issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use intacct for our account and subscription billing. It is much easier to process our month end close and access any financial data that in the past we had issues with.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Attend one of their conferences if you are interested in the product. The amount of information there is very much worth the trip.
Very Robust
What do you like best about the product?
The reporting and customization. AP entries are easy to find. The departmental dashboards are a great tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not as intuitive as was expecting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to upload credit card statements, create a template for departments to enter the GL numbers has been a huge time saver for the accounting department.

Call other uses and get their feed back to make sure it will meet your needs.
Continuous Improvement meets Accounting/ERP
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct's ability to continually provide improvements to their system is impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much... some of the interface layouts are not consistent (likely due to varying developers/acquisitions).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Through Sage Intacct and their network of integration partners, we have been able to have world-class functionality without adding personnel resources - billing, sales tax, security, project tracking, CRM integration. Last year we acquired a new business and built out the back office functionality with minimal effort.
SAGE Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
I like how thorough Sage's software is. It platform is all inclusive and encompasses every tool you need to complete basic AR & AP functions from beginning to end.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how outdated Sage's platform is in comparison to other competitors on the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not having any problems with Sage Intaact at this moment. I enjoy using the software.
