I am the Purchasing Coordinator for my company, so I don't actually do accounting.
What do you like best about the product?
It is quite easy to navigate around in Intacct.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like is that after I complete a receiver or inventory draw it doesn't take me back to the main screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to track items easier. We were not using a specific software for purchasing before Intacct, so using Intacct is so much better than before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think as far as the other software that I have used that Intacct is the most user friendly.
Intacct Review
What do you like best about the product?
It is straightforward and user friendly! I love the option to customize so many features and invoice templates/statements/email templates, etc. The functionality they allow you to customize i feel is a major benefit even though it takes major setup sometimes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AP module is a struggle with credits. I know they are working on it but we need more functionality to apply credits. I also hope they will improve the emails that go out from the system and ensure they don't get stuck in people's spam.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are utilizing departments and subaccounts in order to better align our financial reporting to the structure of our business. Having detailed departmental financials to support the consolidated financials has given our business leaders additional insight to the business in order to make operational changes accordingly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure it checks all of your boxes but if it does check all of your boxes, it will do a great job for you. The system is super easy to learn and can give you a lot of insight into your business.
"Adaptable, fit, continually updating programming"
What do you like best about the product?
This bookkeeping programming can be exceedingly tweaked to your organizations needs. From custom answering to uncommon email formats to custom receipt/proclamations. I like the robotization of my month to month solicitations and the group procedure to send them full scale without a moment's delay. Our organization requires point by point reports for various offices and advances and we had the option to get all the data we required.
What do you dislike about the product?

It´s light, attractive and compelling to use. Very good UX/UI with robust features.

Lack of inventory management capabilities, but this is not really the focus of the solution, which is acceptable.

What do you like best about the product?
A flexible cloud-base solution, really light to use, which brings full control and real-time financial insights and ability to automate manual processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some reports could be more detailed and drilled down to understand the source of data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct has helped us to improve our process efficiency, becoming a lean even though small team. Our decision making process is also more accurate since we are able to better understand how our operations are running.
3rd Time's a Charm
What do you like best about the product?
This will be the third time that I have implemented Intacct, all at different companies. I appreciate the consistency of the product while they are constantly updating the features to best serve their customer base. They actually value customer feedback and work to integrate it into the system if it makes sense.
What do you dislike about the product?
The hardest part of Intacct is the implementation. It is a big lift on the accounting team with support from the implementation team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving consistency of data and the ability to distribute financials in real time.
Strong accounting software for a great price
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is incredibly easy to use and surprising powerful in its capabilities. The custom reporting module through Platform Services has got to be my favorite part of the platform. Building reports ad hoc has never been easier. Also, navigating through out the system is very smooth and I never has trouble researching accounting questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've run into issues when integrating with Expensify for company credit card tracking. The system does not allow for a master Charge Card to be used in conjunction with multi-entity credit card bills. The workflow requires for only 1 entity to be used. To be fair, this problem is likely not going to be common to most use users out there as this is an issue specifically with how our chart of accounts is structured.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Sage Intacct for our accounting system of record. This includes AP processing, expense reimbursement, and general ledger.
Makes Global Consolidation a Breeze
What do you like best about the product?
Multi entity and multi currency consolidation is a breeze. With over 40 entities in both the US and Canada this software made our month end close so much more efficient. Reports are easy to customize to what we want and I love that we can create certain groups to look at.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have definitely found some quirks along the way but all have been corrected with some help. Some of the automatic transactions have been wrong (incorrect journal or incorrect accounts) but Sage Intacct has corrected the problems quickly for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The global consolidation sold us on the product. It is amazing how much time we save with that alone.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it is user friendly and very easy to navigate. I love the help/support community. Whenever I have questions about something I can always go there to find the answers I'm looking for.
I love that everything we need is all in one place. We can pay vendors, input fix assets, record our journal entries and so much more!

What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative thing I have to say is when I can't find the answers in the community and I have to submit a ticket through customer support, they are not so great. The communication is horrible and the turn around time is awful.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intacct helps use to pay our vendors timely and smoothly. We also use Intacct for our deprecation and a ton of other things. It really helps to keep us afloat and going.
Needs better UX/Customer support but solid accounting software overall
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about intacct is the new UI interface. It's not completely done but it is a huge improvement over the old one. Also coming from quickbooks, Intacct is more scalable and much faster. As a developer, the API is also pretty easy to use and smart events is useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a developer, I hate that it uses XML and not JSON. Documentation is sort of lacking and I wish you could change the naming of certain things, like Sales Invoice and Sales Order. Setup and implementation was a pain. You have to pay a third party to help you implement intacct, and until you're fully implemented you can't get tech support. Instead, the third party has to contact intacct for you, which takes forever. Not sure why I can't just contact intacct directly, seeing as we're paying for it. Honestly if I didn't already pay for it and was in charge, I would have gone with someone else because it was that frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were solving the problems with using quickbooks for a medium size company. It didn't scale and was too slow and clunky to keep using. Benefits include better reporting and better accounting in general.
