Intacct for multiple companies
What do you like best about the product?
I like how flexible the reporting is, and how easy it is to create reports across departments and companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the reporting is TOO flexible, and can be overwhelming if you're not just making changes to a template. Also, I would have liked more training, all the training I found was expensive and I don't think our company is using the software to its full potential. All the webinars I have taken to learn about new features are more a sales pitch than a learning tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest plus here is that it is powerful and can handle many entities, dimensions, departments, locations etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Not as user friendly as smaller programs like Quickbooks- make sure to ask for a training session or two.
Get real time data on your mobile device
What do you like best about the product?
That the data is cloud based so you can access real time data anytime anywhere and works well with small businesses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Custom reporting is very difficult and time consuming to set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining and accessing acct data from a work at home location.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As a small business, this is great if you require access on the cloud. However if the anywhere/anytime access is not necessary for your company, I wouldn't recommend this product as there are much cheaper solutions to small business accounting.
Great accounting software!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and navigate through. The layout is clear cut and doesn't require much training and you can easily learn along the way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Custom reports are difficult at times and require me to export and manually manipulate what i need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to pull a custom report for the Income Statement to get the financial numbers we need.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for a company in their mid stage growth.
Great Software
What do you like best about the product?
Very functional and easy to use for our business. Multiple users can use the product at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can';'t handle large transactional volume for treasury related activities.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about sage Intacct is how easy it is to navigate and locate things. Everything is able to be broken down into ways that make sense for our company. Reporting, look ups and all functionality make so much sense, compared to some others.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about Sage Intacct is how slow it responds to some things and that not everything for a particular invoice/payment is on the same screen. Several times you have to click multiple times just to find the exact piece of information you are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problems we are solving with Sage Intacct are having all of our general ledger information in a streamlined process.
Reliable GL system with nice UI
What do you like best about the product?
It's very intuitive and easy to learn and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't an easy way to customize some things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having an AP system, T&E system and GL all in one system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is great for smaller organizations that need a comprehensive GL system. The additional modules available within Intacct are adequate but not always the best option. However,many available 3rd party products have a direct integration (API) with Intacct and they work well together.
Easy to work program for small business
What do you like best about the product?
Using Sage accounting is a fairly easy program to use and navigate. It is convenient for everything we have used it for
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had some downsides (program freezing, trouble reaching customer service)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are better able to see the amount of hours worked by our contracted tutors.
Intaact Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to choose between a check request and a PR request
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you can't type the number for the ID, you have to know the name of the ID account. The Department Summary Report is frustrating. You have to choose different reports for different departments even though you are wanting the exact same information for all of your departments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to do this all online instead of using paper forms.
Easy to learn
What do you like best about the product?
Intacct is easy to use and easy to learn. Most of it is clear cut and keeps a clean track of records
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't fit well for the needs we have as a smaller non-profit. There are many things that we don't need or use as part of the program
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
keeping track of past spending budgets and expenses by the cent.
Good product
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use and I like all the features you can customize, such as creating unique reports. I also like the ability to can pdfs or excel files to the system for support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind, I think this is a good tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an accountant, I like being able to create reoccurring journal entries or entries that reverse at the end of a month. I also like that you can upload support for an entry.
