Very intuitive and easy to use ERP system
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of data flow, report exatraction and the ability to access intacct from any device from anywhere in the world at any given time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customer support lacks, not being able to pick up the phone and call someone when you have a quick question.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’ve automated our AP Payment process from start to finish by using check outsourcing, American Express payment services, and Wells Fargo ach
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Intacct is one of the most intuitive GL systems I have used. I am able to get the data I need with very little training.
What do you dislike about the product?
The training materials I have gotten thusfar haven't been very good. We've been trying to work with the fixed assets module for months and have had trouble getting adequate help to use the product as intended.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it for our GL accounting system. I hope to utilize more of the reporting features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take advantage of any training offered and attend the pre training classes at the annual convention.

Not a big fan of collaberate. Not enough security. Have to create private groups which is not always desired.

Innovative and Efficient for All
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct has been the most user-friendly accounting information system that I have used to date. With consistent system updates and seamless fluidity throughout, it's the only way to go.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issues I find is whenever I'm trying to drill-down on a transaction in either a GL report, bill register, etc. Too often am I not taken straight to the original transaction, or worse, taken to only a grouping of transactions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Honestly, the benefit in having a cloud-based AIS has been insurmountable. To save on storage space of backup documents, as well as having access to them from anywhere (even at home!), has brought nothing but convenience.

You have to believe if you wish to achieve.

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive, easy to use financial system! Productivity has skyrocketed after implementing Intacct for our non-profit organization. We love the accessibility and reporting as well as the flexibility offered with the use of dimensions. Our employee users love the dashboard feature and the availability of real time data!
What do you dislike about the product?
We would love to see a mobile application that is easy to operate on the go! Some approvers within our company struggle with approving consistently as many are traveling and have trouble with technology in general. Some others complain about the comments section after declining a transaction. You can access it after clicking inside the history, but they would like easier access to see comments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct provides real time data to our key decision makers, including executives and department managers. Dashboards have been a game-changer for our organization. Dimensions provide the ability to slice and dice our data in a way that is useful for analysis.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the software increases my efficiency, solves business problems, and is very functional and adaptable to my business. There are quarterly updates that also help with new features. I have enjoyed the conferences too which allow learning about how to use the system better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of yet. I am enjoying using the product and learning new things. Sometimes the quarterly updates cause unintended problems, but Intacct has been quick to resolve any problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was having problems with using excel spreadsheets a lot. I was able to replace many of my spreadsheets in Intacct. I also have other systems that were not integrated and Intacct has allowed me to combine many systems together (i.e. credit card processing, budgeting, etc).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you choose a good implementation company to configure your installation. Also, Intacct has a great community that allows you to interact with other customers along with asking questions.

I love the dashboards! This software is very user friendly with some very cool features.

The older User Interface was a bit boring but the new one is absolutely chic!

highly customizable and allows great granular control

steep learning curve for administrators and end users as it is quite a complex and powerful tool

Managing various books with varying complexities and being able to work on all of them in a consolidated matter.
Managing growth
What do you like best about the product?
The expanded reporting, ability to set controls and visibility of our financial data. The ability to integrate with SalesForce has been key to our organization and has greatly improved efficiency around invoicing and contract tracking. We could never have managed our current volume with our old system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functionality, specifically allocations, are not available across all of the modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to put off hiring staff. Intacct reporting allows me to give different levels of management real time financial insight appropriate for their position. I have been able to add automation to many manual processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Talk to other users, read the reviews, ask questions and hire a well recommended implementation partner. Consider the partners, having integrations with SalesForce and Avatax has been a lifesaver for us!
