Sage Intacct is awesome!!!
What do you like best about the product?
Having visibility at any point instead of having to wait for a the monthly close. Cloud based. Intuitive and easy to use. Great management team at Intacct that interacts with customers annually at Intacct Advantage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, great platform. This platform is much better that Micorsoft Dynamics Great Plains.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily running up to date reports at any point in time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't wait any longer, make the switch, you will be very happy and wish you would have done it sooner.
First Year Sage Intacct User
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct has an intuitive, easy to use interface and integrates seamlessly with other software platforms to reduce the time I spend every day entering data. This means I can manage more clients in less time. Beautiful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike entering dozens of transactions, manual reconciliations, and wasting time in general. Sage Intacct helps eliminate these things from my workday.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accurate financial reporting in real time.

The customization of data is limitless. The ability to create smart rules and events to help with misspostings.
What do you dislike about the product?
The budgeting feature is not good. Would like to see the ability to duplicate budget information without an export and import CSV.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Decentralization and increased financial transparency

What do you like best about the product?
The dimensional reporting of Intacct has helped streamline financial reporting of our complex international operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's really hard to point out anything I do not like about Intacct, but maybe something that could be improved is the user interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Financial reporting, Grant tracking, restricted find tracking

If you find your non-profit growing, and need more complex reporting for various financial and non-financial results, get Sage Intacct.
Have had a great experience using Intacct in the Family Office Space.
What do you like best about the product?
I like functionality with Adaptive and Expensify. I also like that the purchasing module allows us to convert these purchasing items to bills and syncs with our GL.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that there are some product features in Purchasing that have not been rolled out yet. These include not being able to convert large batches of data all at the same time. I have had issues converting these transactions. We have had some functionality issues around month end close where we would prefer the transactions on the bank rec to be removed form the bank rec screen as they are matched.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining out GL and Books. Great integration. I have been able to integrate all expenses ands activity.
Intacct has been a struggle to utlize

Cloud based for ease of use anywhere allowing employees to work from home

illogical programming specifically to the reporting module
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to customize the reporting albeit painful to allow a great deal of data analysis but only with the benefit of excel

Interview the implementing company thoroughly!

It will take time to load the heavy data but it's on minor issues

Limited format changes and workflow setup in APJ, ARJ, Cash management and T&E. Need more controls arrangements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ERP system

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that you can report on many different dimensions to slice and dice the information. This software has taken us out of excel, which is great. I also appreciate the dashboard functionality, although we have yet to use it's full functionality. Customer support is great and Intacct releases quarterly updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about Intacct is that while it is awesome to be able to tag all of the transactions with different allocations and dimensions, I wish I could collapse some of that information for the general ledger reporting and month to month comparison.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to scale tremendously without adding staff and create many efficiencies.

Rethink your structure to make sure you utlize the accounting codes and dimensions to the fullest.
