We need not maintain revenue schedules manually, It can be automated

General legder and Cash management is very user friendlly and time effective
What do you dislike about the product?
As a non profit user , grant/ project could be more simplified yet still not that hard to segregate all of the project by the particular period of time or length.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage intacct very convenient to use when reporting specific project revenue and expenses , crearting more attribute for journal entries for example income by location, grant, type etc.

It is effortless to generate reports and balances.

Nothing to dislike but it can be improved if you can add more reports

It helps in creating vendors, provides us reports during reconciliations and to process multi-currency bills.

Rev recognition module for SaaS. Nothing else.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support is terrible. Sales people listen to you, show you all the bells and whistles and then when you push back on pricing, they sell you something that won't do what you asked for. They give you pages and pages of details on the sale in a tiny font that is very hard to dicipher. Long story short, you spend thousands of dollars for something that won't do what you wanted.
Reporting modul is terrible. Forget all those beautiful dashboards that they present on the website and in presentations, it is virtually impossible to get those.
So disappointing! Meetings with many people that at the end of the day, do nothing.

It helps real time reporting so bussiness has the adbvantage to up to date reportings.

1) Some time taking toomuch time to download the roports,

What do you like best about the product?
I like the functionality of the General Legder, Cash Management, Accounts Payable modules of SageInatacct. The Edit feature is awesome. I appreciate that I can edit a journal entry instead creating a new entry. The void option in Accounts Payable is also a time saver. The option to void only the check reduces the time in rekeying invoices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downside of edit feature is it's not available for credit card transactions. Also, creating customized reports is difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct enables us to keep all of our day to day accounting functions in one product.

A Great Accounting System with Poor Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Just about everything. The biggest advantage with Intacct is the consolidated financials. With the right modules and configurates the eliminations are handled and the financials are easy to produce.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting is rough. They have a list of preset reports you can run but they are pretty minimal. Some of these can be edited in a fairly intuitive way but others cannot be edited at all. A wile back they released an advanced reporting system that is horrible. It was so bad that last year they built and released a new reporting tool called Interactive report writer. This required an extra subscription and our consultant tells us that is it not the big of an improvement. Now this year they have released another new reporting tool called Interactive Visual Explorer, and you guessed it, this required another subscription and even more money. They keep charging more and still have not sovled the basic problem.

Smooth accounting process with nice consolidated financials.
