Sage intacct is the future and it is very innovative.
What do you like best about the product?
The multidimensional setup and reporting capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside of Sage is the learning time. You need a lot of time to truly understand the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The manual ways of processing invoices and to do day to day accounting as well as giving solutions to in-depth reporting analysis.
Accounting Automation
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and automation capabilities. API documentation is also excellent and the SDKs are easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of having direct access to the database, which makes it a bit difficult to make changes on the back end for objects that are not available through the APIs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It eliminates the need for manual data capturing, as 3rd party systems can easily be integrated with Intacct.
Sage Intacct Review
What do you like best about the product?
One of the standout features is its comprehensive reporting capabilities. The customizable dashboards and reports have made tracking and analyzing our financial performance incredibly straightforward. The automation of routine tasks has also greatly reduced manual errors and saved valuable time.
What do you dislike about the product?
one aspect that I find less favorable is the frequent changes to contact passwords. While I understand the importance of security, the constant need to update passwords can be cumbersome and disrupt workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct offers advanced functionality for managing complex financial structures, including multi-currency, multi-entity, and multi-department accounting, making it easier to handle complex financial scenarios.
Intacct has helped tremendously with Audit

Setting up revenue schedules , commissions etc

AP and AR could be more robust- need add on solutions

I'm able to log in anywhere there is internet. I don't have to have the same computer when I need to do work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The program can be very restricting on what you're allowed to do. The imports are also troublesome when they don't import, usually because something was required on the import and the descriptions aren't always up to date on what is required, or your settings limit how you're able to import

Having multiple accountants logged in at the same time, making entries without issues. Manager approvals on invoice entries
User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
The system is very user friendly, with plenty of self help options.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no complaints or dislikes on my end of things.

We used to have reporting issues, now we can break things down by event etc.
Very user friendly multifaceted tool
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Sage is extremly user friendly and easy to learn. Sage Univeristy and the Help Center are extremely helpful if you're not sure how something works or how to use something. I keep learning more and more what Sage Intacct can do for me that I've previously done manually, and they keep expanding on features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more learning modules to show you features you could be using, with examples and perhaps videos, because I am sure that I am not using the software to its full potential.

Infinite customizability in reporting to show exactly what I want.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like the I should be able to better customize the standard reports to show what I want vs. having to create my own from scratch.

Adding discounts on the payments screen is something that could be very useful for me.

Overview of Sage Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
It is a more modernised system with potential to be an all in one system for accountants. The reoccuring journals are a great feature which allows you to save time creating journals. The consolidation of accounts is a great way to review company accounts on a whole without any manipulation of data. To create new nominal codes can't be any easier and the account mapping allows us to easily implement our processes on recording transactions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price tag of additional packages is something that maybe needed to be looked into
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To be easily look into the consolidated accounts with out outside manipulation. The ease of finding information i.e invoice numbers and the audit trails allows us to get to the bottom of each issue that may arise.
