Sage Intacct insight
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Sage Intacct is that it really relies on the simplicity of their software to make things run smoothly for your financials. It integrates very well with our payables software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more reports to manipulate a little easier. I find myself needing specific rules that I am unable to do without asking Sage to create it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping with our continuous close.

Great for Multi-Entity Companies
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sage Intacct makes it easy to work in multiple entites of a company. It really streamlines the interentity transactions and makes reconciliations that much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to learn, but once you know what you're doing it is a very powerful software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Interentity reconciliations are a breeze with Intacct.

Not accepting correct information even though entered properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better management of the divisions I work with. I don't have to logout of one division to enter or work in another one.
An improvement from Sage 50
What do you like best about the product?
The more I use Sage intact, I have found it to be very user friendly for the most part.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be of an advantage to be able to select the credits that you would like to post to clear them out against the invoice. as you can only select apply and not pick the specific credits needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage intact helps to reconcile customer statements with its user interface between the systems we use
Really powerful piece of software, highly recommend
What do you like best about the product?
Open ended API system allows easy integration. This enables a high volume of imformation to be stored in intacct. Can be really useful in understand trends and identifying areas for improvement. The report financial writer has many uses, from stock items sold to analysed financial statements. Intacct is used daily. there is an amazing support system in the top right had corner that covers all issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are particular functions that would improve Intacct such as allowing certain purchase credits to be selected and applied against purchase invoices rather than applying them based on their age. A function to make VAT reconciliations easier would be great - there isn't a straight foward way to match these transaction to the making tax digit working papers as the unique references are different GL vs MTD.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intacct allows us to produce accurate management accounts with high levels of detail making external audit a breeze.

What do you like best about the product?
The Journal Entry modual, being able to make corrections, attach documents, and duplicate previous entries.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting modular is difficult to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do not really have an answer for this.
Just switched to Sage, here's what we love and what we dont..
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to intergrate it to many other softwares that we also use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Implementation has been well however one thing we have noticed is that the AP processing isn't the best and something that can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's automating a lot of manual processes that we use to spend a lot of manual time one for example, bank reconciliations. We're benefiting from this with having more time to focus on reports and analyzing the data rather than insuring the data is correct.
Review of Intacct 2024
What do you like best about the product?
As a person that uses intacct literally every day for work purposes, I like the search engine. The search eginine is suprisingly easy to use and find what you are looking for if you have a rough detail or 2 regarding an entry. The differnt kind of reports you can make/ run is also a big asset. Especially when you need to find a lot of specifc items in a short amount of time. It also great to see all of our captiva invoices being imported into intacct in real time. the software seems almost limitless regarding tools you can integrate to make processing easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the clunkiness of the attatchments tab. I wish there was a more seemless what of viewing an attchement for the entires i create. I also wish there was a way to download attachments directly from the vendor overview tab. THis would make vendor cleanup a lot easier in my opinion. A button to forceably drop reocurring payments immidiately would be amzing as well. Also a more "free" or "limitless" template of creating reports would defiently be a big asset for this platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest thing intacct helps me solve is organization. being able to upload attachments to intacct entires in a 1:1 ratio is amazing for record keeping. Our built in software, Captiva, that automatically imports completed bills into intacct is also a great asset and enforces this idea of 1:1 ratio for intacct entries.
I have had a great experience using Intacct. Never have any problems!

What I like best about Intacct is how easy it is to nagivate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont think there are any downsides to this website.

Sage Intacct is benefiting me by helping companies view their finances.
