Sage Intacct a wonderful accounting system
What do you like best about the product?
The navigation in the application is very friendly and does not require much time to understand & learn the software.
Easy to go through each & every module to perform the inquiries/actions.
The user restriction is very helpful so the required permissions & roles can be provided to the user by their duties.

What do you dislike about the product?
More details on each API would be helpful. We are finding some time lag in the file delivery through DDS.
Need to have logs/backups for at least 1 month as on a few tickets we did not get the resolution as reported issues/transactions related logs/backups were more than a week.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping our booking keeping. We have interfaced the data with our system so getting pulled these detailed through API & DDS.

I like that it is cloud based and has the latest technology.

Impossible to make some needed changes. Specifically our EE ID's were uploaded incorrectly during implementation. It has been a huge pain point for us and Sage has been unhelpful in finding a solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage is adding efficiency to our bank recon process.
Experience was good but since I am in Inventory Management there were not a lot of sessions

Great data capturing capability with great custom report creation for data extraction

What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is a cloud software that I can use anywhere. The reports and drill down capability are some of my favorite features.

I don't have many things I dislike. The regular updates and constant improvements keep me happy.

Sage Intacct gives us up to date financial information that helps us make decisions without a lot of work in excel or other systems.

I like the ease of the accounts payable & accounts receivables processes for the staff at my organization

The project/events module. We use it for grants and it has been very difficult.

When I can get them figured out, Sage will help me track grants more effectively ( I hope)

What do you like best about the product?
Configurability. I started with no knowledge of Intacct, but many years as a proadvisor and then years working in large ERPs. Intacct was easy for me to get my arms around.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a cost, for sure. But you get what you pay for. It's also been difficult for me, stepping into things much later to figure out who to talk to. We were implemented by a CPA, I think (it was years before I began) but sometimes I'm still lost. The community helps but I'd like to know who/how I talk to Sage. Rather than just calling this one guy that we know who somehow gets paid for our Intacct system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grant trackign and reporting. We don't have to use spreadsheets for this.
Sage Intacct is a game changer
What do you like best about the product?
Sage intacct is a game changer in the way accouting systems operate. Having the custimization within Sage from the dimensions to reports as well as all the API integrations available. We know Sage is with us for the long haul as we continue to grow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage intacct is continually improving which is great that they are listening to feedback, but for a smaller organization without a dedicated IT team it can be a lot to keep up with all the quarterly updates and releases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving to a more robust accounting software in Sage allowed us to solve monthly close and reconciliation issues that we previously had in QB online. We also have increased reporting that solves financial packages that would take weeks to get out and now we have expidited the process to get them out in a timely manner.
