Easy Layer Of Security
What do you like best about the product?
Easy deployment and setup, straight forward AD intergration
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing for investigate is way to expensive and should be included with base license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Web filtering and reputation based filtering. I have noticed numerous blocks to malicious sites and newly created domains.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make this a priority in your budget, it's one of the easiest layers of security you can implement

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Umbrella is that in just 5 minutes all the devices that access the company's internet, start to be safe. The speed with which you could start the Internet security, does not compare with any other solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, this platform is amazing. Perhaps the point of improvement is the cost per user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secure access to the internet of all employee devices. Inside and outside the company. Besides integrating it with the Active Directory, we can have a track of each employee's access to the Internet and apply business policies prohibiting access to pages that do not comply with that policy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your company's internet access is unprotected, in just 5 minutes you can protect it completely. This platform is extremely robust and allows to keep the assets of the company safe.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is the speed of deployment of this solution. Being a platform in the cloud, the only thing necessary is to address the DNS of the company to Cisco Umbrella. Then you can enable several policies depending on each business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there is nothing that disgusts me about this solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Cisco Umbrella we were able to implement a layer of protection to all devices that want to access the Internet very quickly. Preventing users from accessing infected websites.

Cisco Umbrella is great, it protects all the company's devices inside or outside of it.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about this product overall is that it was so easy to deploy. Apart from that everything just works and it has been instrumental in stopping more phishing attempts than I can even name.
What do you dislike about the product?
My company didn't get the Investigate module, but I honestly feel that it is so ingrained in the product that it should have been included.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Malicious domain visits, whether through phishing or user apathy and really just the standardization of our DNS from the perspective of visibility and being able to protect ourselves from internal threats.

Great product, but spend the extra money on Investigate.

I like it for its security system that provides defenses against threats from unstable connections on the Internet where we can access and without realizing it infect the malware system
The technology that DNS Umbrella is very good, analyzes very well the page to be entered to define whether it is a stable connection or a malicious connection that can transmit malware or cause any damage to the system.
The support they provide is one of the best I have seen, they are always willing to solve my doubts and problems I have with the software

Umbrella is a very complete program but sometimes it makes the system slow because it consumes a lot of system resources causing this failure but it is not something that affects the daily work

The peace of mind provided by having all the information secure is the best benefit, in addition to the company's devices are safe from any cyber attack that may be unfortunate for the company to lose important information and data

I can safely say that Cisco Umbrella is the best protection platform that exists, it is very perfect in the security it provides and detects very well the malware that causes so much damage to the system and computers

Previously, no type of protection was used for the company's network, but knowing that there was a platform that provided protection and security did not hesitate to install it and until now, it has been the best. It is excellent and I feel calm that Cisco Umbrella avoids any type of malware that detects

If you want to protect the company from any malware that through connecting clients that open misleading advertising being a non-stable connection, Cisco Umbrella is the best in that security system.

What do you like best about the product?
Umbrella is a key part of our layered security. Umbrella does a great job of filtering DNS request by category or policy. It alerts on suspicious activity or policy violations. Additionally, I promote the OpenDNS Home version for my employees and to parents when I give security talks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to act more like a proxy where I could have different policies per user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Umbrella protects systems from known DNS attacks via email or websites, and can detect botnet traffic alerting you to comprimise.

What do you like best about the product?
What we love most about OpenDNS umbrella is that it has a modern and intuitive interface. At the time we had to do an update of a system prior to this and it was very easy and comfortable to do. It complies with all the features it offers and our company has done very well in terms of security for users or employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
The truth is that we do not have many negative things to say about this program, in the time that we have used it in our company it has been very useful, however we can mention that sometimes there are often delays when it comes to carrying out searches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OpenDNS has given our company quality and security in the network and servers through the DNS and at the same time we have a better connection. We have been able to protect the vegation of our customers and workers from unsafe sites and even deceptive advertising by using navigation monitoring. Without a doubt, OpenDNS is what a company needs.

Undoubtedly the best thing that OpenDNS umbrella has is the optimal capacity to stop and eliminate the possible viruses that damage the network where we work.
What do you dislike about the product?
A not lesser scope that could be improved in this tool is the ability to work with low-end equipment since its security is currently quite weak if you do not have a robust equipment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem we had in the company was the viruses that spread through networks or websites, since we have free Wi-Fi in our vehicles and customers often infected the remote terminals in the cars, which was a big problem but Now it does not happen a long time since the implementation of this tool.

To use this great tool, knowledge is needed, however, once it is up and running, security within the enterprise networks improves a lot.
