What do you like best about the product?
Easy (nearly intuitivly) to use. Fast visualization of Production data
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is a bit old fashioned.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working with a large amount of process data. Searching for events within the data, doing a correlation analysis to find the root-cause of abnormal behavior.

Easiest access to the history of your data
What do you like best about the product?
The tool has a low learning curve so you can get started with your data quickly, the strong points are searching and viewing periods of data that would likely crash other tools. They also have good support and follow up to assist you in using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you have to export data and take it to Excel or Python but that need is decreasing with notebooks and the ContextHub functions that are on the roadmap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is great for root cause analyses and monitoring, but to me, it is even more valuable that it gets more colleagues to use process data so we become more data driven and less based on gut feeling or experience only.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It really starts to excel if you are using frequently updating time series that are stored for multiple years in a historian. Clean interface so beginning users are not confused by dozens of buttons and options, which is the case with a lot of other data analysis tools.

What do you like best about the product?
The speed of getting a lot of data very quickly on your screen, as well as the data searches.
What do you dislike about the product?
When adding a new context item, you cannot search freely on the tags already selected, you have to select the tag again and that is quite tedious if you want to add the same context item on multiple tags.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickly knowing what is going with certain equipment and checking if this is normal behaviour by comparing with historical data. To see if something is really a problem or not.

Try it! Then you truly know what it can do for you.

Sometimes the functionality is limited, but future releases should resolve that soon

Process event calculations in Contexthub should allow me to do more with monitoring

Easy of use, ability to perform analytics and dashboarding without external help

Would like to see even more advanced analytics enabled in the future to further reduce the amount of tools needed

Troubleshooting, root cause analysis, equipment performance monitoring
Powerfull tool for trending, dashboarding and more

Dashhub, it allows users to build their own KPI dashboards.

That we technically still cant implement single sign on.

Besides regular ticket follow-up, we have monthly follow-up calls to resolve issues and discuss potential enhancements.

It's easy to visualize data from sensors and building correlations. Now with Notebooks we can use it for doing more advanced analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
We want to use non-linear correlations in our variables.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trendminer helps us to optimize the amount of LAB product that we produce.

Great experience, easy to use and trendminer has a great overview.
What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use and the overview which you can have in just a few clicks is really helpful. The fact that you can stack trends makes it user-friendly and easy to find links.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is slow in loading trends, probably due to the servers of the company. It can be difficult to find saved trends, if you have a lot of trends that you want to look at it can be hard to find them in your work organizer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding gas-leaks, helping to find different connections between trendgroups.
TrendMiner has opened up the ability to work with process data like no other application before it
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of access to data for both beginners, immediate and expert users. The way TrendMiner supports us as a customer is on a level that few other software suppliers can meet. They work on the problem with you and are keen on adding missing features if you so desire.
What do you dislike about the product?
The area of authentication & authorization is not TrendMiner's strong suit. It is just now, 2022, building in SSO. But the migration of existing profiles is not scalable enough (at least yet). It is difficult to set up a differentiated authorization structure for Asset Frameworks (no group or LDAP DN support).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For a TrendMiner beginner, already the basic search and trending is a step up from previous tools. Especially as data from different sources can be accessed and used in the same way. Access for the common user to a more advanced analytics function is really good. This provides a better route than being stuck with Excel files or disparate programmed solutions.
