What do you like best about the product?
One of the biggest advantages of trendminer is its customer service are focused on finding resolutions to the problems that may be presented to users, thus seeking customer satisfaction, reduces the time of data analysis as it allows to analyze them on a large scale.
What do you dislike about the product?
For companies with a limited budget is not a great option, it is not easy to use requires practice to get used to the functions of the program
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows to reflect through tables contextual data analysis, time series data and alerts to allow to tell operational stories, optimize the production process thus reducing work time
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is not so easy to use, it needs practice, however, videos and reviews are available on the web, after learning to use it skillfully the investment will be worth it.

What do you like best about the product?
TrendMiner is worth every penny we spend and more. The technical support was impeccable and helped us throughout the setup process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI did feel a little cluttered at times for a newbie, but maybe it's just me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
TrendMiner helps us with process monitoring. For an Admin, a solution like TrendMiner helps simplify the management process associated and helps reduce failures.

What do you like best about the product?
Everything including empower process and asset experts with advanced analytics to Analyze, Monitor and Predict the operational performance of batch, grade and continuous manufacturing processes.

Nothing at all, the concept and process i loved it the most.

Visualizations is the best part as far as my experience is considered.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes predictive analysis lags efficiency. The outcome of the same sometimes is not accurate.

What do you like best about the product?
For me the search capabilities of the tool make it so much faster than our current tools to find periods of interest. The fingerprint feature is also very usefull for batch processes.

TrendMiner teams implement a lot of relevent new features to improve the tool every year and are listenning customer request/feedback for next releases.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I have to find one, the Software AG structure : increase of paperwork time - less flexible - Software AG e-learning platform more complex, more expensive, less user friendly compared to the orginial TrendMiner one
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improve daily searches and give access to data analysis to a wider range of users
Comparing batch easily, create golden batch, compare cycle times of production phases
TrendMiner is also used to create monitors to follow critical equipments (dashboard, gantt chart)

What do you like best about the product?
Most data analytics and visualisation tools are cumbersome to use and require a huge amount of training for users to get value from it. TrendMiner is easy to get started with and very intuitive to use. Our users are delighted that with only a few clicks and a few seconds, you can combine data that you otherwise would have had to print out or transfer to another tool to see the data in one place.
Usually you are reliant on having specialist people in your own organisation to help you use a tool but, with TrendMiner the support is great and you can gain alot of help by reaching out to the TrendMiner team.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I really dislike about the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a few key focus areas where we see the majority of use cases in our organisation, these are:
Quality Management
Production throughput optimisation / process improvement
Energy Management
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for an easy to use, time series analysis tool that you can use to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence, then I strongly recommend that you give it a try.

Excellent big data analytics tool to empower production

What do you like best about the product?
TrendMiner overcomes the most disadvantages of conventional tools for analysis of production process data. Many production plants struggle to identify process improvements based on production data because using existing tools is often cumbersome, complicated, and time-consuming.

Trendminer enables production plants to leverage production big data by providing a user-oriented tool that provides powerful data-mining and collaboration functionality, to ease decision making and to improve daily production. It allows for comfortable real-time operation with data from different sources. The browser-based application is designed for various user groups – data analysis experts as well as plant operators.

Moreover, the TrendMiner team is exceptionally open-minded, supportive, and flexible, they are customer-focused and want the best for the success of their customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have negative aspects of TrendMiner. But, if I might need to point out some less positive aspects, I would think of the learning curve to became proficient with the tool and the change management process necessary to sustain the use of Trendminer. TrendMiner is aware of these challenges and has processes and people to give full support to tackle these topics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With TrendMiner, the capability of the plant to get information out of plant data is significantly improved. This leads to (i) effort reduction in the daily work; (ii) identification of directly applicable process improvements; and, (iii) definition of measures for further optimization projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Strongly recommend to adopt TrendMiner as a tool for Operational Excellent to drive continuous improvement

Extremely helpful visualisation tool

What do you like best about the product?
For me, the best feature of TrendMiner remains the ability to plot trends very fast that would otherwise require far more time downloading, importing and coding. Also the fingerprinting, although it needs some getting used to, has proved very useful. TrendMiner support has surprised me with their commitment and follow-up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the things that I would improve are in the next update so looking forward to that! Being able to export data at a 1 second interval would also be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Comparing different trends, exploring data spread over large time frames (over 1 year), checking for similar situations using the fingerprinting has largely decreased the amount of time spent, adding calculations to be able to check the fit of calibrated trends.

What do you dislike about the product?
Trendminer created a lot of functionallity to do analystics. Therefore more possibilities are availible to come to a useful solution. This functionallity cost some time to learn.
But there is always help!
