Review on Trendminer
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use when implementing changes without affecting any underlying data. It gives us a secondary option to visualize and manipulate data to determine futher opportunities not as easily seen.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does have limitations where some features, like aggregations, are not perfectly astute. Other things not as easily visible is the indexing which can be improved
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The speed of response and service is truly beneficial and helps us achieve solutions much quicker.

A useful tool for equipment monitoring and root cause analysis
What do you like best about the product?
TrendMiner has helped out the reliability of our site greatly by assisting in root cause analysis with search functionality and condition monitoring alerts that get emailed out. There's more functionality to be explored to add value yet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of ability to share ownership of created monitors and tags. Limits on layers in calculations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to monitor equipment and send alerts with existing instruments and the ability to search for specific conditions in data.

What do you like best about the product?
It empowers engineers to explore and analyze their data more effectively and enables them to discover additional insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve for using the app and knowing how to take advantage of all the available features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Exploring and processing manufacturing data in a more efficient way.
Centralization
What do you like best about the product?
The features provided by TrendMiner are excellent. I've not yet used their system to its full potential, but I can recognize its capabilities, especially after hearing other customer's use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could have more active (visible) tags and that I could customize the axis of each individual tag, so that I could layer multiple varied tags together without it skewing the trend view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It centralizes data from multiple production lines so we can compare all the data together easily.
Excellent tool for self service analytics for chemical manufacturing
What do you like best about the product?
An easy to use interface that allows average users to be able to easily perform analytics without the need for a heavy data analysis background. Built in functionality allows for very fast analysis and digestion of data. Customer service and support is great and supportive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall a great tool for data analysis and visualization, but not a replacement for a traditional process exploring tool like PI or Aspen Process Explorer. When paired with those systems it is very valuable, but lack the graphic interfaces like traditional process exploring tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increasing speed of access to data and driving action.
Easy analytics at my fingertips
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of TrendMiner is how easy it is to use and how quickly it can let me analyze my process data. It also has python Jupiter notebook integration which allows more flexible analysis in case the out of the box product doesn't meet all your needs.
Their customer support team is also excellent and very responsive. This makes me more comfortable playing around with the software.

What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I wish I could do is be able to work on my Jupyter notebook and data offline
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
TrendMiner is solving the data accessibility problem at a lot of plants. Now engineers can focus on making sense of the data instead of trying to find the data and access it in a meaningful way. TrendMiner gives time back to analysts and engineers.

In plotting xy diagrams with different layers the layers cannot be drawn with different colors

Easy to use and efficiently analysing. Quick and high quality analysis

I cant come up with any dislikes, the toop is overall good to use. The difficulty with trendminer lies in integrating it in the organization

Versatile functionality ranging from basic time trend to advanced functions as calculations, ML hub, context hub and monitoring all at one place.

ML hub integration is not yet fully operational.

Providing multiple solutions at one platform thus creating value in removing multiple platforms for process efficiency.

Trendminer makes it really easy to filter out useful data and make it ready for further analysis.
You don't need to be an Excel wizard to get the answers you are looking for.
The clean user interface makes your data more useable for the average employee.

What do you dislike about the product?
As with any new tool, there is some resistance to the unknown that makes it necessary to actively promote adoption.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves me a lot of time in Excel and enables me to quickly do an analysis that I otherwise might not even start on.
