What do you like best about the product?
The ease of doing configuration and file transfer speed is very good with this tool. It supports all the security standard requied for security. I also wanted to highlish that Axway support always helped us in need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally feel that logging and reporting is the hard part working with this. Also, when there is multiple routing in transfers then identifying the failed steps and resuming from there is difficult sometime.
In our organization we only use ST, so I am not sure if there is alternative tool already developed for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well, this application act as centralize hub for all the transfer happening with external system. We can impose policy on protocol level based on security need and provide best solution for each customers based on their requirement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Axway keeps their tool up to date according to the market. It is very easy to setup and configure.

What do you like best about the product?
The different automation options. It's easy to manage and operate. Very user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Axway is flexible on taking into account what companies don't like so nothing comes to my mind in this section.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves all automation and security problems.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend to keep a good communication all business groups that use the product as well as great support responsiveness.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful is the easy way to use e configure it. Using file transfer a little, you can understand and easily make file transfer without reading a lot of documentantion.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my opinion, the transfer panel should get better. It is not so easy to find old transfers on the panel. It takes a lot of time when we ara making troubleshoot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Axway file transfer helped us to set up a SMTP file transfer faster than we can imagine. This brought us agility in our project, and we could finish the project on time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In my opinion, the transfer panel should be easier to find old transactions.

What do you like best about the product?
Axway offers easy to set up file transfer ability. It doesn't require so many ports to be opened and firewall exemptions for many ports. Instead it can be done with a port it stands in that part from the rest of the players. Also, its UI is more user-friendly than competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area where it can be improved is troubleshooting, for troubleshooting a failure we have to rely on the systems, event logs, and user logs instead of Axway providing the logs where and why the file transfer has failed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It used to take a lot of time to get permissions to open up ports and firewalls from sources & peer destinations but with Axway it has drastically reduced with just one port is enough to make the communication happens. Also, it is very easy to set up the communication channels even a layman could able to make it once he/she attends demo or read through the documentation.

Package application was overall good and multiple protocols support , end to end tracking of files from UI was helpful

there should be some advance feature to track the failed files and pop up notification could be helpful for these failures

The documentation in French does not exist, especially the delivery of examples for implementing new features.

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Transfer CFT and Gateway for file transfer.
We used Transfer CFT for Internal Transfer (Server to Server). The best thing about it is that it is available for almost all operating systems.
We used Gateway for file transfer between the organization and external partners. The most significant advantage is it supports many Transfer Protocols. This flexibility allows customers to choose the way they can connect and send files to the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most painful part is reporting and auditing because the products are disintegrated and do not have inbuilt reporting tools.
For the Transfer CFT Agent, since it is installed in each server, maintaining it is laborious, i.e., for service pack and version upgrade
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our customer switched to Axway MFT from the old FTP server to have a more secure and easily managed file transfer process. Compared to the previous system, switching to Axway MFT allow application more control on their file transfer.
