Great platform and great customer service
What do you like best about the product?
Blueshift is great because you can create emails that are relevant to their user, their interests, and their interactions with our brand and website. The customer support team is always happy to help and come with solutions quickly, succinctly and work with me to make sure that I can continue to use the platform they offer.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the downsides with Blueshift is that there is a lot of technical requirements, which means unless there is someone on the development team who is specifically working on Blueshift, it can restrict it's usage. After all, you can't use this platform correctly without the data!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blueshift has allowed us to send targeted recommendations to users based on a number of their attributes and attributes with the products on our website which has increased our engagement rates immensely.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ensure that you have a good IT or development team who will be able to provide ongoing support to use Blueshift.

What do you like best about the product?
I loved Blueshift Academy when I first started working in the platform!
What do you dislike about the product?
One major issue for me is the inability to clone a branch. We would be much more efficient as a team if we had that capability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We learned through talking with the Blueshift mobile team that we had an issue within our app resulting in reporting errors. Very thankful for that insight!

What do you like best about the product?
Blueshift is much more sophisticated than some of the other ESP's that I've used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when I update a campaign, it doesn't save the work I've done which means I'll have to do it again if I catch it. Also would love to be able to drag and drop a branch within a campaign.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to place customers in a journey that is super targeted to them vs "blasting" them with a generic message.

What do you like best about the product?
Blueshift has so many data capabilities that allows us to target audiences & create very highly personalized emails. It's very easy to create reports and dashboards to compare open rates, click through rates, and other important metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's super hard to build customer journeys in the tool, because users will stop moving through the funnels if they don't meet the requirements of a specific branch. A lot of the different campaign types have very different rules and some capabilities don't go across all campaign types - for example updating a users place in the campaign isn't possible in segment triggered campaigns. I find myself having to reach out to support often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving for a better consumer experience. We are able to quickly make decisions on the data that blueshift provides, as well as send very personalized messages.

Pace for rolling out new features can still be improved but it's in no way a deal breaker.

Blueshift helps solve our CDP and marketing automation platform requirements. They have been instrumental in helping us leverage our unique marketing dataset and campaign objectives.

The new holdout reporting feature helps us quickly and easily gauge the success of our lifecycle campaigns.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's easy to get lost when building more complex segments with the Advanced Segment tool. The bounding boxes used to show grouped elements can be unclear and take a time to get used to compared to Basic Segments. Overall, segment notation, especially ALL vs ANY and OR vs AND can be confusing.
The Visual Editor tool isn't as robust or customizable, especially when it comes to sizing images from recommendations without using html, as compared to other CRM tools.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're sending a whole range of campaigns from weekly editorial content and automated marketplace emails. Liquid code gives us a lot of flexibility and the opportunity to personalize and translate content to expand to cover global audiences.
Blueshift offers some amazing features, intuitive setups and a large set of integrations
What do you like best about the product?
The wide array of integrations for third party applications such as Twilio/OneSignal
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when searching it can take a while for things to load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is much quicker than the previous solution our company worked with. Faster to setup campaigns, create segments, integrate (not possible with previous) It also is no SQL which can make it easier for non technical users to create segments which is a plus.

What do you like best about the product?
Blueshift is user-friendly, simple, and effective. You can get the insights you wonder in a couple of minutes. The support team is incredibly fast and always helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have recorded some minor inconsistencies in the reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can segment the customers and create campaigns in minutes. I can also analyze customer journey end-to-end quickly. Thus, I can spare my time to focus on strategic aspects and monetization.
Easy going platfrom to work with that is very powerful to use.
What do you like best about the product?
The combination of recommendation engine + data structure + shared assets makes our lives so much easier. I Like the possibilities that blueshift gives you different features that enable you to take your campaigns to the next level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Campaign builder. It lacks behind the rest of blueshift. I would love to have a much smoother builder. It's a few bugs sometimes that makes it irritating to work with.

Optimize send time give us a data driven answer to when is the best timing of sending the email. This is one easy example. Blueshift also makes our programs automated 100%. Which makes us very relevant to our customers.
